Well, we wander into this beautiful restaurant, service was efficient and very friendly. We had the ability to sit inside or out of the restaurant. We were blessed with a window view inside the restaurant. We ordered our meals via a tablet 👍we didn't wait long before the mains were served. We also let them know we would be sharing the mussels, so they brought us 2 finger bowls (thanks). I went here twice during my time in coromandel because I really loved the food. The mussels were amazing, the sauce perfect, the bbq ribs so tender and the fries so crispy, perfect food experience. Plus really friendly waiters, great service and nice location. Thank you very much! Great place with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. We had calamari, Ika mata tuna, coromandel Mussels and sticky date fudge sundae for dessert. All the dishes were very delicious, tasty and beautifully presented. They have mini tablets to order, which worked great as it had pictures for each dish. Staff and service were great as well. the food here was sooo tasty. we ordered the clam chowder, caesar salad, fish and chips, and mussels. the seafood was very fresh and every dish was delicious. highly recommend the mussels, they are huge !! The Pepper Tree is a necessity when visiting the Coromandel town. Our food came out quick, along with the really friendly staff. Would definitely recommend the seafood chowder, mussels and the garlic prawns. The coconut pannacotta was interesting but loved the amount of fruits on it - would likely try something else next time. Unfortunately, the situation was further exacerbated by a noticeable lack of a comprehensive explanation and heartfelt apologies, leaving us somewhat disheartened and longing for a more seamless experience. Amidst the challenges, a silver lining emerged in the form of the manager, whose amiable and understanding demeanor stood out during our subsequent conversation. The manager's willingness to engage and address our concerns added a positive dimension to an otherwise challenging encounter, showcasing a commitment to customer satisfaction. While the hiccup in service was undoubtedly a disappointment, the gracious response from the manager served as a redeeming factor.
