The famous breakfast to brunch shop in Luang Prabang. Located near morning market. Riverfront. This place has not so many menus. The highlight dishes are Luang Prabang’s style porridge with pork ribs, shiitake, dry shrimp, and dry squid so flavorful and others is beef noodle (khao piek). We also order paatongko (fried bread), soft boiled eeg, and local coffee which also perfect for the morning. Despite the good river view table. Cleanliness of the place I’d rate 2/5. Service 4/5. Price is cheap. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

A lovely local eatery where I had my lunch - spicy rice noodles soup with pork. There's a fun incident happening when I was eating - a metal pot fell down onto the ground, making a huge noise. All of a sudden people started to say meaw, meaw ... That was so cute.

We came here around noon and the congee was lukewarm. Make sure you go in the morning when it’s hot. Other than that, the iced Laos coffee and iced milk tea were both delicious! I give those drinks 5/5.

Great place for local breakfast which is pretty popular with locals as well. Can see the increase in tourists (like myself) checking the place out too. The rice soup is fantastic and it’s broth is rich in taste. Don’t hesitate to add the dough fritters and some chilli paste into the food! The Lao coffee is similar to the viet one but smoother in my opinion if taken without condensed milk. Prices are cheap but not sure if there’s price difference between locals and tourists.

Loved the authentic Lap coffee and traditional brewing style. It has a chocolate like taste. Very nice family owned business. Make sure to stop by.
nice congee with soft boiled eggs and donut, by khong river
Great noodles and fantastic view of the river. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Rice porridge is quite good but hot milk tea is so diluted. Staffs are really friendly. There are seatings and tables next to the blank which ones can enjoy beautiful but serene view of Khong river.

The best joint for a local khao soi breakfast. Not to be confused with the Thai style khao soi, this Leo version is a different soup: spicy broth, rice noodles and some meat, served with herbs. Soooo tasty! I went back a few times, had a different soup there too, also very good. Small English menu available, the ladies are very friendly. Open only in the morning though, not for dinner. Very little money for awesome food! Coffee also available and seems very popular.
Great local coffee, feeling and prices. 5000kip for lao coffee, didn't find that price anywhere else downtown, you sit with the locals and the stand next to it has cheap breadrolls to dip.
