I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic breakfast/brunch place, and I must say, it's a gem for surfers and breakfast enthusiasts alike. The breakfast menu is not only delicious but perfectly tailored for both pre and post-surf meals. What sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service, especially from the owner, Hatch. His personal touch adds a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the entire dining experience. The staff is attentive, and the food quality is consistently excellent. My favourite breakfast place on Siargao, went there 3 days in a row!! The food tastes so good, i had the smoothie bowl and the japanese pancake (2x). The owner is so nice and welcoming! I’m usually a waffle instead of pancakes kind of guy. However, Outer Cafe’s Soufflé Pancakes have given me an exception for that rule. These pancakes redefined my standard for pancakes. Add sisig chips, extra bacon and/or a hungarian sausage for the perfect after surf treat! You can also try their steak sandwich or the chicken and waffles if you’re looking for more meals that can warm your heart. Their free breakfast coffee is spot on for your daily caffeine dose and their coffee menu has the right dose you need without being too snobby. Looking forward to enjoy my next meal here. Traveller’s tip: Chat up the owner when he’s there for more travel tips around the globe. Just make sure you come in before they close for when afternoon surf session starts! A lovely little cafe in Catangnan, the staff (I assume the owner) was super friendly and accommodating. We ordered the fish and chips, the fish was a very tasty white fish and the batter was also very good. Price point was spot on for the portion and with the main meal we received a complementary black coffee which was also very tasty. Lovely little cafe, perfect for a breakfast after a morning surf session. Try th steaksandwich! If you just arrive ask the barman for tips he knows al the best spots on the island and is always down for a friendly chat. Loved this place a lot. Will be back. The pancakes were good! Too bad we couldn’t order them for take out too. Ordered their moka pot for coffee but it was just okay. Tried their fish and chips. Some parts were good, other bites of the fish was very very bitter (kept wondering if that’s how it was supposed to be). Kept wondering what their theme was supposed to be too (Japanese, Italian, Chinese, Austrian…?) My sisters and I had higher expectations because of the raving reviews. But the owner was so nice! Saw pictures of their soufflé pancakes & octopus pasta and I knew I had to pay them a visit. Food tasted as good as it looked. The homemade blueberry butter goes so well with the pancakes. Also really friendly & attentive service. Would definitely come back!

Nestled in the quieter part of Siargao, one can come to enjoy a good meal or a good cup of coffee. Their menu is extensive enough to have items for people with dietary restrictions. Super love the friendly vibe! Had a brief chat with owners and his friends, they gave really good insights on how to get around the Island 🤍 Love that their fish and chips are legit southern style! a rare find here in the Philippines!! This is the place on island for food hands down. The soufflé pancakes are incredible. The owner is delightful and is always for a good conversation. The staff and kitchen are prompt and you can tell put love into their work. If you are the island, 10/10 recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
