Great staff and super easy to shop. Good to know that the kitchen closes at 5pm and the shop at 6pm. Great place to stop for a coffee on your journey down the garden route. If you have the time, start at rhe ou meul in Pinelands, then about 100km later you can stop at the ou meul in Riviersonderend and then the ou meul in Riversdale.... Great place for a rest and a flat white. Also try some of the other eats. It is a pity that the next ou meul is only at Windfarm just outside of Port Elizabeth... Clean bathrooms for those traveling with kids. Something to eat for everyone. Joining the N2 is easy as the road is a 60km per hour zone so no stress to get back to your journey. What a great place to stop for breakfast, not only was the food fresh and wonderful but the staff we friendly, welcoming and efficient! And it never hurts to browse and pick up some delicious treats from the bakery to take home with you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Returned a hard, dry almond croissant and we only tried take away coffee after leaving - almind milk was off. Muffin was good. Won't be stopping here again, in fact second guessing we won't stop at any Ou Meul's again. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person R 50–100

The Croque Madame which I had was anything but a Croque Madame. Very disappointed. It was as in fact bacon between two slices of toast with a fried egg on top with a sauce. Bit great at all. Stopped over for a breakfast. Coffee arrived nice and strong as i like it. Simple toasted chicken sandwich a bit over priced. Ou Meul is always a solid bet for tasty travel food. This time however the kitchen got the order wrong. I always say no problem to make a mistake, but how you recover is what matters... we all human and make mistake.... in this case the manager jumped into action and fixed the problem and insisted on free pastry sweets for everyone in our group. Then brought the corrected meals to my car outside. Well recovered Mr Manager. Food: 5 Service: 5
