UPDATE: I spoke to the general manager, John, and he wanted to make it right by offering a refund or gift card. I wanted to give Oregano’s a second chance, so took the gift card. My wife and I went back 2 days later (we are in Flagstaff for vacation) and the experience was 100% better. Service and food were great! I’ve updated my review to reflect this. Thanks Oregano’s for making this right. ********* original review ********** I really wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews. We were seated tonight at a high top table next to the bar with the bartender as our server. We ordered a large pizza and waited. Customers came in after us, ordered their food, and received it. We waited. The waitress/bartender said our pizza would be up shortly. We continued to wait. After about 45 minutes and after seeing another customer come in after us get their pizza, we determined there was a breakdown somewhere in the process. Either the bartender/waitress did not put our order in or some other issue with the order process. Other people that had come in after us were getting their food quickly so I believe it was our waitress. Mistakes do happen. The waitress apologized regarding the wait. We had to get a box to go since after waiting over an hour, we were afraid we would not have time to eat it before they closed. We did not speak to a manager because the waitress/bartender did not talk to the manager about our issue. Hopefully no one else will have the same experience that we had. myHusBand and I came to Flagstaff for a quick little getaway for our anniversary decided against our better judgment to try oregano’s. The waiter was very nice. I ordered the wings after asking the young man if I can get them all flats, he said yes bought the wings to me. There was only one flat and they all look so delicious but I sent them back. He looks very surprised by my decision. We got our bill and our pizza was double charged he act, very surprised about that. It was the same price as the wings, very suspicious the pizza had so much cheese on it. We could’ve mowed the building together with it. It was trash. I gave them one star because I couldn’t give them any less. I don’t like being lied to and I don’t like spending my money on food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Had a great experience. Was here with a very large group and they took great care of us. Portions are quite big, def will have left overs. Cheesy garlic bread was great. And Italian wedding soup. I really liked the broccoli and meatballs (I asked for an extra side of marinara cause they didn’t initially come with much but they brought me one and I thought it was a really great, fresh tasting marinara). Visiting Flagstaff. I’ve been to the Phoenix locations, but it’s been decades. 4:40pm on a Saturday. Not yet busy.😋 Sat at bar. Madison was our wait person. Ordered beer and . Ordered the shrimp and wings. Shrimp was very good. Wings were good as well. Got the rub with bbq sauce on the side. In all everything was really good. Service was really good as well. We got the pan pizza- Clark, and never before in the history of pizzas have gotten as much cheese as I add at home! It was fabulous. However, the service wasn't great. While the food came reasonably quickly, we never got a refill on water and the food was 20% more than the waitress told us it would be. I specifically asked, because there was no price on the printed menu what the Clark *pan* pizza would be and was told one thing and charged another. I really feel like if I ask about pricing, and you don't know FOR SURE, go find out! For those reasons, I gave a 2 on service. Good was as expected, delicious. Service was fine at first, but our server seemed to be stuck multi tasking and I not very attentive. Asked for extra napkins (kids), then just went and got cocktail napkins from the bar after about 5 minutes, asked for 1st refill for water and ice tea, then after about 10 asked again and about 5 minutes later he came with them. How many tables did he have, well when we shower up 4 in his section, 10 minutes into being there just us... Was he doing his cut duties, sure but come on now. Asking us if we need anything then disappear stocking, cleaning and what not for me to have to ask again or remind or go get something myself... regardless, my family still enjoyed our lunch, I just expected a little more promptness from our server considering. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. 5 stars for Ada who served us and was super nice, friendly and helpful. Arrived 30mins before closing and we were immediately told not to worry about that. Lots of parking in a well lit space. We had pizza with some extra toppings and lasagna.
