This is delightful Hakka food restaurant that serves generous portions of good Hakka food in Daxi area. The dishes are robust, savoury and delicious. We recommend the Stir Fried Beef with Ginger (薑絲炒牛肉), Braised Pork with Pickled Vegetables (梅菜扣肉), Hakka Fried Dish (客家小炒), Preserved Radish with Eggs (菜圃蛋）. Most of the dishes are absolutely good. We strongly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

After my golf game today, I decided to swing by this local Hakka restaurant and give their Hakka dishes another shot. Gotta say, the chicken was a bit of a letdown. It was way too big to enjoy properly, which was a bummer. On the bright side, the steamed fish with tofu was absolutely delicious! Bursting with amazing flavors, it really hit the spot. And let's not forget about the fried oyster – hands down, my favorite! Pairing it with a cold beer was the perfect combo. Now, here's the real surprise: the pig intestines. They were cooked in a unique way, with ginger and a tangy kick, and boy, were they tasty! Oh, and to satisfy my post-golf hunger, I couldn't resist adding a baked onion pancake to the mix. It was a fantastic choice, filling up my grumbling stomach in no time.
Very good Hakka cuisine. 3 of us ordered 8 dishes all in small size for $1700 TWD. Loved all of them, especially the chicken, deep dried small oysters & soft shell crab. The white rice is free & is AYCE. Our cousin introduced us this restaurant & we will definitely come again when visiting Da Shi next time.

Delicious food! Made even more enjoyable through the group setting. Communal dishes in the center of the table shared with good friends!
The walls are covered in old pictures, art, carvings, traditional clothes, and an assortment of vinyl records. My favorite was the Bee Gees.
The braised pork and lemon pork we're out of this world delicious!!! I definitely ate more than my share.

We arrived today at 1.45 and the restaurant was full. We waited for 10 minutes before a family finished their meal.
We helped ourselves with the white rice as the kids were hungry. The food arrived fast and my my, all very delicious. I strongly recommend the 客家小炒，醋溜梅花肉 is so appetising, the chicken in the soup 日本山药is soft and fresh.
Overall, best hokka food I tasted this year..
Very interested local Hakka cuisine and suitable to a group of people or family, highly recommended, but inconvenient if you didn't drive...

Hakka style, One of the groups of people in Taiwan. The taste was good, and delicate, without too much spicy. The amount of the dishes was abundant. Not to order too many dishes at one time.
