Restaurante Manel is a Caneças institution where everybody go for the absolutely freshest and best seafood at very reasonable prices in an informal and traditional ambience. You have not tried seafood if you have not been here. Price per person €35–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Restaurante típico português - no frills, good food, unbelievably inexpensive, food served until late (around 10.30pm). Highly recommended if you are looking for a proper portuguese food experience looking beyond looks and focusing on taste and the real deal. Loved the vinho branco à pressão (sorry don't know how to say it in English but its wine no label but so, so good - again typical Portuguese).

On est bien accueilli, pas très cher, frites maison hmmm, copieux, bon, petite erreur de commande mais rien de grave, quand on a faim et qu'on est pressé c'est parfait.
