As a breakfast burrito connoisseur, I set a high bar but this is honestly the best smothered breakfast burrito I've ever had. Danny, our waitress was an absolute joy. Can't wait to get back for our next meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Road side diner with large pie selection, friendly service, and classic setting. Coffee fresh, Cherry crumble pie was okay, hash browns needed a little more grease and time. I enjoy this cafe..nice girls, easy to get to. The food is typically good and prices are reasonable. I would like to see it be "refreshed" a bit as everything is pretty used or worn in well. The lights could be upgraded as could the paint. The seats are a bit past their prime. BUT that all being said, you will get a good meal to enjoy. Now if they would just stay open an hour longer and open for dinner one night a week ( like a Thursday or Friday) so people in the community had a casual affordable dinner option that was close it would sure be nice. After driving past for five years, we finally took the plunge and jumped in. Where have you been all my life? Terrific food, outstanding service, fair prices, plus real "homemade" desserts. We've dined both breakfast and lunch. So much good stuff, it's hard to decide. AND, they will make it YOUR way, if you don't see what you want [substitute beans for potatoes; substitute green chili for sausage gravy]. You want it; they'll fix it. First off: this place was fantastic! Staff are so friendly and home-cooked food was really good. Definitely noticeable how much better the meal was. I’d drive out of my way to grub here. Look at these pancakes!! The hash browns inside my breakfast burrito! Yum!

As a regular customer I haven’t tried enough of the menu but whatever I’ve gotten is always great. The service is impeccable. They always remember faces! O’Briens cafe is a very nostalgic greasy spoon that don’t find a ton anymore and especially not anywhere near enough in the area. Their staff is attentive and helpful. They get your order right every time! Awesome place. Get the cinnamon roll to start things off right and trust your gut from there!! Fantastic diner in Sedalia with great service - thanks Monique! Fast with the coffee refills and meal. We had the veggie skillet with scrambled eggs and tried their pepper sauces! Loved that - also had the Mighty Meat skillet and she let my husband do half and half, half green Chile sauce and half gravy - he was full til dinner! Friendly folks with a massive homemade menu, cinnamon rolls and sticky buns, pies and lots of homemade breads - yum yum! So this place food was a very small portion. I got conbeef hash eggs and hash browns. Well, it looked like I ordered a kids' meal. I literally got like 6 fork full of hash, and they fill your plate with eggs to make it look like a good deal potatoes. There was this old man there who was on his cellphone talking supper loudly. I said something he was not eating either but they don't care he's was a regular they did not ask him to stop I mean he was cursing and it was loud I said something to the staff and they said they curse too. lol, this place is older than dirt, not updated or anything. You would think they would keep up with the times, yes, so I overpaid for my meal with a drink. My total was $18.95. For once again no food and a grand total with tip $25 bucks, I feel ripped off .
