Service was slow but there was only one server so not entirely his fault. The food was dry. Salsa was very good. Some in my group felt they needed to change their oil in the fryer. Had a breakfast burrito and a breakfast taco here today. I had the special Nopalera taco. I’m not much of a potato taco guy, but this was fantastic. The burrito was with pan sausage and egg and cheese. It was huge and delicious. The prices are great. The people are friendly. I ordered to go and was out in minutes. Great spot if you’re in a hurry. Went in to order 01/25/24, those are the worst tortillas I have ever had on a taco. Went there based on reviews, very disappointed. I will try Sylvia’s next to see what they have. Great food and friendly staff. The restaurant is a little dark, but I enjoy that when getting out of the sun and taking a break from work. Chops and salsa are fresh as well as the warm tortillas delivered with my meal. The Shrimp A La Diablo was wonderful too. The shrimp were surprisingly perfectly cooked and the Diablo sauce was very tasty with just the right amount of heat. My co-worker said he enjoyed the chicken taco salad and he was glad that we found this place. We will definitely be coming back when we are in the mood for Mexican food.
