Really delicious, authentic fresh Indian dishes in the heart of Luxembourg. I absolutely love the concept and mission of veganism, proving that it works. A good sized menu with plenty of options to suit everyone. Both the gentleman we met (owner and chef) were so polite, well informed and keen to share their passion and story. Prices are very reasonable, and the portions are massive! Overall a really positive, wholesome restaurant for a cosy, authentic meal. We absolutely loved this place! The vegan food was incredibly tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly kind, and the sign that says 'please do not bring non-vegan food in here' added to the charm. Highly recommend! I both ordered and had food at Nirvana and it DID NOT disappoint. Food was delicious every single time and they staff is always so kind and friendly, joking with the clients. We felt so good! Eating from Nirvana is a MUST everytime i go to Luxembourg. I dream of their chocolate cake Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Hands down Best Chole bhature I have had in Europe. The only downside is the order takes a while, but I guess that’s the small business charm. Nevertheless, the food is totally worth the wait Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Owner is really sweet person and knows how to take care of customers. Hence, 5 stars in service. Regarding food, my go to dish is chole bhature and coming from north India (where this is a staple dish), this is decent, you would be happy 80% of the time. I had the pleasure of dining at Nirvana Cafe, and I must say, it is undoubtedly one of the best vegan Indian-cuisine based restaurants I have ever experienced! From the moment we entered, the staff and the owner greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness, making us feel incredibly welcome. Upon entering this restaurant, we were already intrigued, as it came highly recommended by some friends. Little did we know that our visit would surpass all expectations! Every dish we sampled was nothing short of amazing, leaving us in awe of the culinary expertise present in every bite. The standout dish for me was the Chole Bhatura. I can confidently say that I have never tasted chole (chickpeas) as delicious as those served here. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the bhaturas themselves were exceptionally fluffy and soft, a testament to the skillful preparation in the kitchen. In addition to the Chole Bhatura, we also indulged in Aloo Paratha, Momos, and Mango Lassi. Each dish was bursting with flavor and showcased the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The Aloo Paratha was expertly crafted, with a satisfying blend of spices and a delightful potato filling. The Momos were a delightful surprise, with a tantalizing filling and a delectable dipping sauce. And the Mango Lassi was a refreshing accompaniment that perfectly complemented our meal. Beyond the exceptional food, Nirvana Cafe is a must-visit when in Luxembourg. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable, creating a pleasant atmosphere for an unforgettable dining experience. The dedication and passion of the staff and owner shine through in every aspect of the restaurant, further adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit. In conclusion, if you are searching for an outstanding vegan Indian cuisine experience, look no further than Nirvana Cafe. From the courteous and friendly staff to the remarkable flavors found in every dish, this restaurant truly stands out. I highly recommend trying the Chole Bhatura, but don't stop there – explore the diverse menu and savor the incredible flavors on offer. Nirvana Cafe is a true gem in Luxembourg and should not be missed! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Momo
