Best cafe in town! The vintage deco makes for great Insta-worthy shots. True coffee connoisseurs will appreciate the love and experience that go into a cup of pour-over coffee (the shop’s specialty). Prepare to wait for your perfectly-brewed, nuanced and complex cup of coffee. While waiting, try their heavenly vegan cakes. Will be back for more. 20 Jan 2024. First time here. Very interesting place, filles with nostalgia items. Very peaceful place to relax. Many choices of coffee and the boss very patient to explain the different type of coffee. We ordered hot hojicha, latte and fruit drink. Also one.piece of banana walnut cake. Nice place to visit again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Batu Pahat has a cool collection of cafés, but this particular one deserves a special mention. Be transported back to the 60’s and 70’s era as you step into this hidden place tucked in the heart of Batu Pahat. Niqiu Space is an antique gallery that coexists with a café called Rasa Rasa (覺味). On first glance, you will not have known it is an antique store and café because of its inconspicuous facade. Upon arrival, its facade aroused my curiosity and I was trying to peep what was inside. This hidden place is formerly a clinic and you can still find its old signboard hanging in its interior. The theme here is eclectic, with a various mix of vintage items on display. The aesthetic and ambience are on point and I would say this is best theme café I had visited. Although the food menu is limited, the beverages are the main attraction here. The prices are a little steep here, though you have to bear in mind you are paying for its ambience. To ensure the comfort of other diners, there are several rules that you need to comply during your visit here: - Each diner is required to order a minimum of one drink or meal. - Portrait photography is not allowed. - Refrain from touching the items on display. - This is not a child-friendly place in consideration of the numerous antiques displayed inside the shop. Despite the rules which may be off putting for some, Niqiu Space is one interesting café I shall patronise should I visit Batu Pahat again. Tips: Avoid your visit on both Tue and Wed as this hidden space is closed. Spot the popular eatery called Ah See Wanton Mee (张亚泗云吞面) and you will be able to find Niqiu Space situated right beside it. This place was peaceful on a weekend night which was nice for me. The turn off gotta be trade off that some items will be sold off by then. The interior is cute but I don't think I can enjoy this place when it is crowded The pumpkin cake is decent

Upon my entrance, mind blowing is the word! I did not expect to see such a treasure in Batu Pahat after 2 years of not stopping by the town. This cafe overrides every other cafe I’ve tried in this charming old town. The flat white was perfectly done and the seasonal brew hitting all the notes! Also ordered their matcha cheesecake and pleasantly surprised once again. Soft, full of matcha flavor without overly sweet. I love it! All the staffs were always smiling, friendly and polite at all times. I’m definitely coming by to Batu Pahat more often after this. Thank you very much for the care :)

Charming, quiet café in the old quarters of Batu Pahat. I love how the natural light pours into the space and the hanging plants that lend a rainforest vibe. Friendly barista, tasteful vintage decor and absolutely delicious desserts. I enjoyed the Madeleines very much. Price is definitely on the higher end but for the ambience alone I find it worth a subsequent visit!

First time coming to a cafe with the most rules. Such a interesting cafe but i don’t know what this cafe target audience? i think this cafe for people deaf, mute, and blind. because this cafe dont give a permission’s for customers to take a picture or portrait of you, and customers must be quite all the time (talking slowly) even you're not disturb anyone. Rustic space with vintage vibes. The collection of items here really brought me back to the olden days. They make their cakes in-house. Will definitely return for more cakes
