Great place to grab a bite. I got amazing service from waiter Innocent, very polite and attentive. The Bacon Steak and Mushroom was delicious. Lisa the manager was good too , she helped me with a customised printed receipt with no hassle. Me being a Vet , I loved her cats however some clients are very uncomfortable around cats. Some lady next to me got startled after a cat rubbed on her unexpectedly and she spilled her drink. I would have given 5 stars but please do something about the cats moving around the eating area. Some people are even allergic to cats.
We really loved this place and the prices. We got a fantastic waiter named Knowledge and when we went back we only wanted to be served by him. He truly loved his job and went the extra mile to make customers happy. The food was great and the cocktails were really nice, although there was limited choices. I gave this place 4 stars because there was a random cat which would sometime wonder around and some of the stuff didn’t bother to do anything about it. If you’re in Bulawayo you gotta visit this place.
They are not maintaining the standards. Have gone there four times and the food standard keeps on detoriating. First time was top notch, last visit very horrible, fries dry, steak tough, sauce not very tasty, vegetables horrible, dessert_waste of money🚮 it was as if they prepared the food in a rush. These pictures are deceiving. Something must be done and soon. Maybe will go there just for the pizza ive never ordered before Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Friendly staff; Good drinks; limited but delicious menu. Hawaiian pizzas are the best!

Our unpleasant experience started by the gate with the gaurd who questioned the validity of our reservation & reluctantly opened the gate after we insisted that we had booked a table ahead of time. We were greeted with a not so friendly waiter who handed us over to another unfriendly waiter, who rushed us to order both starters and mains at the same. The most laughable part was that he said the smoked salmon starter would take very long because they would have to smoke it 1st, when we all know they cut open a packet and slam it on a plate ready to serve. It was surprising that we were told the kitchen is closing yet more people walked in after us and orders kept flowing out of the kicthen. The food was dreadful: Vegetables were overcooked & the french fries lacked consistency, each bite was a suprise(raw or crispy). As for the steaks, we both requested medium but got medium rare to blue. To top it all off a I was given a dirty drinking glass. My question is why was my reservation time accepted if the kitchen was going to be closed at that time. The New Orleans we all knew & loved years ago no longer exists. Would not recommend. Used to be my favourite since 2018 when l got here in Bulawayo..disappointed when l went there with my friends from South Africa with much confidence. Only to be disappointed, they had pizza only on their menu. The waitress was a bit rude and inexperienced . I usual mind my business but with the way I love this place I cant. they have to do something about this. I will give them 3 stars for today, hopefully l will go there for their famous delicious pizza soon.
It started off by the guard who was busy on his phone. We waited at the gate for a min or so till we had to open our window to call him. We got the after we say that it says they close at 22:00. We were told the starters and main meal will come at the same. That time it's still 18:50. Anyway... The food was so dry and most of the things mentioned where not there. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
I’m yet to experience service that is worse than what I received at the deck. 3 times in a row now and I’m establishing a pattern now. The waiters will be blatantly rude but very polite and helpful to Caucasian counter parts dining within the facility. I’m beginning to think that perhaps we are not welcome there. I asked to see the manager who had us waiting for 30 mins and when I told her our issue she approached it with great non chalancy and with a very condescending tone and so I realized where the servers get the audacity to be rude from.On a separate occasion I hosted a friends birthday lunch waited well over 90 minutes to receive platters that were booked a week in advance. Had to have a verbal altercation with one of the managers before receiving the food, the manager then later tried to “apologize” with soft drinks that were randomly placed on a table that was adjacent to where we were sitted. The service here continues to decline and the overall attitude towards black people makes me sick in the gut. Giving the place a one star rating is purely because I couldn’t leave a review without putting a star but the place really doesn’t deserve that one star as well.If black people are not welcome in the premises please make it known to the general public instead of treating us like pure trash, it’s 2021 for pits sake!
Unfortunately the standards have not been maintained. Too many compromises on service and menu. No menu options for Sunday in lunch, they serve a below par 'Sunday roast'. Complained about the poor quality food, manager didn't even bother to come and apologize and investigate the issues we had. They have plastic sachets condiments, no whisky glasses, instant coffee, sub par desserts, etc., for a white tablecloth formal dinning restaurant? Really disappointing.
The ambience is calming and the food is good. My experience was, however, spoiled by the fact that it took 15mins to get service. 4 waiters watched us walk in and head for reserved tables, simply let us be; When we finally did get service, the waiter was not friendly. While we were waiting for our pizza, one waiter left his station to ask if we'd been served because he had noticed us while he was attending to another group. He was very friendly. He saved the day for Banff.
