My husband & I came here tonight as I’m vegan and Methven is quite limited on vegan food. The service was impeccable, they carefully & patiently created a vegan curry for me that was the best I’ve ever had. My Samoan/Māori husband ordered the butter chicken & said it was the perfect balance of cream, tomato & sweetness, if you know the know, you know that us Polynesians like our butter chicken lol. So this was hands down, the best he’s ever had. The restaurant it self was relaxed & clean, our waiter was kind, patient and friendly. If we are ever back in Methven we will be back, Thank you for a great/delicious evening! This restaurant proved to be the perfect choice after we worked up a healthy appetite in the pools. We were won over by an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious! Pleasant, efficient service, and reasonable prices, too. The food was absolutely divine I almost ate my plate. The music was on par with drakes album which really made the atmosphere feel alive. The butter chicken had butter in it. Popped into Nawab for dinner on Monday night. The service and food were both excellent. Two of us shared the vegetarian entree platter and a lamb saag. The samosas on the platter were the best I’ve had in a long time. We also had jalapeño and cheese naan which was fantastic, light crispy and very tasty. It was a quite surprising for me that there is Indian restaurant in such a small town 'Methven' which has population around ~10k. It was a nice experience to have a food there. We ordered lot of food and everything was delicious and well served. Service was fast. Staff was so kind. I liked the town and presence of this Indian restaurant made it more special for me. If you are passing through or near of this town than this place might be a good option for lunch/dinner... 👍😊
