In my opinion pricing was fair and portions were more than adequate. Food was very good. Don't agree with some other reviews saying the portions are small. We had 5 adults and ordered 4 entrees and 3 appetizer plates. There was plenty to share if we wanted to try each other's dish and we had food to take home. Decor was nothing special and atmosphere was quiet and calm. Service was a bit lacking but kind of expected, typical of Indian restaurants. Enjoyed, would recommend to try but probably wouldn't visit again.

Allow me to share my thoughts on Nanking, a restaurant located inside the Melville Hilton hotel. The food at Nanking is undoubtedly delicious, featuring a blend of Indian and Chinese cuisine that reminds me of the bold flavors of Nepali cooking. However, I must say that for the price point, the portions could be a bit more generous. In my experience, dining with family and loved ones is all about sharing and enjoying large, satisfying plates of food together. While I do give Nanking a respectable four stars, I would encourage them to consider providing larger portions to ensure that their diners leave completely satisfied

Beware!! New Manager at Melville branch is a complete liar!! Worst experience ever!!!!
My family is a frequent to this branch. But this time was a worst experience ever.
My family of 4 people walked in and they were giving us a small table. So we politely asked to switch our table which was next to us 3 times. The restaurant was 60% empty at 9 pm. The restaurant closes at 10. They did not listen to us. We asked 3 different people, they all said manager is saying no.
After sometime, a family of 3 came and sat behind us and their food was served, within sometime they were moved to the bigger table with food.
I called the manager and asked him politely why the family was moved to the bigger table and not us. He said, 2 more people are joining. I was highly skeptical. So, I personally went and talked to the family and asked if anyone else is joining. They said no. I called the manager then and there proved him to be a big liar!!!!!!

My brother and I are planning a family reunion at the Huntington Hilton and decided to have lunch here.
We are 2 white guys who NEVER eat Indian Food.
By the way, I know it says Chinese too but its 95% of the menu is Indian.
SHOCKED is an understatement on how much we enjoyed all of the food.
2 things I ordered I had no idea what I was ordering and they were fantastic.
Finally someone cooks chicken where it is tender and juicy.
90% of the time they cook chicken too much. Then cook it again when someone ordered it.
This was cooked from Raw and it was exceptional, like everything else.
Sadly we do not live too close by or I would have gone back in a day or 2.
Service was good but he wasn’t around much.

Very nice place. Food was delicious. Unfortunately, they had no hot beverages such as chai, coffee, tea. This is not aceptable for me. Also there is room for improvement in the service.

Good food and service. Plenty of free parking, inside the hotel main entrance. It wasn't very busy when we went on a Sunday. Had a good ambience.

Over priced, small portions, very low quality meat, and just covered on oil. Seriously, how is it possible to get this much grease out of chicken. These two dishes cost 55 bucks.
Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
