As a local, I have to say that this is one of the best Modern Classic Filipino restaurant in El Nido. If you're looking for a place to showcase Filipino food to your friends for the first time in El Nido, this place has the perfect representation of the modern-classic Filipino cuisine. I'd recommend this place to experience Filipino family gathering that revolves around great selection of food. The menu is fairly priced for its quality and serving portion. Note that El Nido has a lot of expensive restaurants that doesn't really translate to great dining experience. It has a wide selection of the filipino traditionals from your classic filipino gathering dishes to the modern iterations. Definitely go for their Kare-kare, Sweet and Sour Lapu-lapu, and Lechon Kawali. Their Kare-kare is not exactly prepared traditionally, but it'll give most restaurant kare-kare a run for its money! The location is very accessible. Nanay's El Nido is inside Pops District which has lots of parking space for motorcycles and cars that is absolutely rare in El Nido. Lots of other restaurant and dessert shops within the district. It's also a good sunset spot and has access to the Corong-corong Beach. Though small, the restaurant's theme is Filipino classic resto that's nothing else special to write about. YOU HAVE TO HIT THIS SPOT IF YOU’RE EVER IN EL NIDO. Delicious and elevated filipino food. Very flavorful! The service is amazing. We actually went here twice and wish we could come back or go to a franchise in the US. Highly recommend their pork adobo, garlic rice, ginatang gulay, inescabecheng lapu lapu, mango tapioca, mango shake and so much more! If youre lucky and get to meet Ara, the co-owner, she’s so accommodating and very thoughtful! We already told our relatives to come visit and recommend you to do the same. We ordered some tapsilog, lechon kawali and some veggies and they were all extremely high quality. The price was high but it was definitely justified by the high food quality as well. The beef tapa was very juicy and tender(I wasn't a cheap beef cut) and the lechon kawali was fried to perfection. Highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice staff and amazing food! Enjoyed the Beef Kare Kare, Pork Sisig, garlic rice and Lichon Kawali. Perfect for two, with a couple bites leftover to take home. Very much enjoyed this lovely restaurant and would come back again!
Honestly, this was our favorite restaurant when we visited El Nido. The food was beautiful - visually aesthetic and aromatic and the taste was a 10/10. I’m filipino so I know how the Filipino food is supposed to taste and this was spot on. It tasted like a traditional Filipino mom’s cooking if your Filipino mom was a 5 star chef lol and the plating and vibes of the restaurant is very instragramable. The servers were so sweet and full of character that they made our experience that much better and the owner is the sweetest, funniest most hospitable host. We ate when the servers were doing a dance for the guests and the owner joined them. It was the best time, super enjoyable. I highly recommend checking this spot if you’re in the area 100%. I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant where the food was simply amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly. Angel and Leynard were the stars of the show, providing excellent service from start to finish. What really made this dining experience stand out was the service provided by Angel and Leynard. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They were friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces.
