I ate alone in an nearly empty restaurant at mid-day on a weekday and had to wait an enormous amount of time (30 minutes) for an uncooked spring roll off the appetizer menu. Staff were aloof and unwelcoming. The tuna tataki was bland and unimpressive. I get how this is novel phenomena in Panama but I eat better sushi in Japan convenience stores. I paid with a credit card and was prompted to tip (this was the longest conversation I had with any staffperson) and I should have declined it.
