Fantastic family run restaurant serving good Myanmar food, gets busy sometimes and you may need to wait but it’s worth it. We stayed 5 nights at Sofitel and ate here 3, well worth the 15 minute walk, take a torch as the road gets dark. Amazing value for money and better quality than the hotel.

15 minute walk from Sofitel resort. Worth the walk if you’d like a break from resort food and prices. We ordered the hot and sour whole fried fish, fried pork with onions and vegetable tempura and the bill came to about 15,000 kyats. Tastiest food we had during our 4-day stay in Inle Lake.

We went there the three nights we stayed at the Serenity resort and we think it is a must. Fresh and homemade food with fair prices. We really loved the tomato salad and the ginger garlic beef.

Superb home restaurant. Really delicious food, hot and sour fish is amazing!! View is good, nice people there, must go even you don’t stay very close... about 15mins walking from Sofitel.

Fantastic grilled fish here. Highly recommended. The pork with garlic and onions are also very good. Chinese style.

What can I say?! We entered the hotel right at the closing time and feared they would send us away as the chains on the gate was shut, but, instead, they opened the gate and smiled warmly. Even though the restaurant was closed and all, she said okay to all the dishes we ordered and never refused even one.. Best of all, they had a lot of Vegetarian options which was very nice. We ordered Tempura Vegetables, soke fried rice and Noodles which all tasted heavenly. As a compliment she gave us bananas and oranges as we finished eating. Would definitely visit again. Best place to eat in Inle. Period.

We stayed at the Serenity Hotel and followed the great reviews (and the dark path- bring a torch) to this unassuming eatery. This was hands down some of the best food we had on our 3 week trip. We ate here twice and were delighted by the quality, freshness and price. Really worth the effort a very special experience :-)

We were staying in a nearby resort when we found this place- we ended up going 3 days in a row, sometimes for both lunch and dinner. Soo good- we recommend the tomatoe salad, aubergine salad, long bean salad (who would’ve thought that would be delicious) and the amazing grilled fish. Very nice friendly family who will offer transport back to your hotel in the evening. Just wish they would play some music. Otherwise a perfect local restaurant.

SO GOOD, great price. Best food in Inle lake region so far. Stayed at Sofitel and this dinner was definitely worth the delivery fee I live in Asia so I know good asian food when I taste it. The dishes are complicated to make but they do such a great job. I normally don’t eat oily food but I can sacrifice for this meal.

Amazing grilled fish and vegetable tempura...it’s authentic, clean and charming. Grandparents working outside, children coming home from school. A highlight of our three weeks in Myanmar. Thank you for our very lovely food.
