We've been wanting to try this place and finally made it. Ample parking outside, and very friendly staff. My husband got the bacon smash burger, I got the open faced sushi burger, and we split the fried pickles. The pickles were great and came with a really flavorful ranch. My husband really enjoyed his burger and like the burger sauce, which was kind of sweet, tangy, and smoky. My sushi burger was so good, the kimchi slaw was delicious and the flavors really worked together well. The prices were good and the portions were huge. Our server was also so friendly and sweet. They have some really unique looking sushi rolls so we'll definitely be back to try those. Give this place a try if you're in the neighborhood! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Smashburger
First time here, and I love the layout and the overall vibe. The manager Louis greeted us at the door, which is always a good sign. Sharron was sweet and very attentive. It's a great place to watch a game and have some drinks order some food and have a good time. My only knock is the music it's the same genre, no variety. I hope to hear some classic rock and some country mixed in there to be more relatable for the old souls. But it's a wonderful place. I was glad to show up and up and to show my support for the opening. 🙏🏻 Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I found this place by accident. Arden has a way of hiding places like the ABC store off airport road. I left the ABC and tried a shortcut by taking the first right and found the place. After my errand I returned at noon. I had a local IPA and a California roll. The place is large inside and bills itself as a sports bar. Plenty of TVs with sports on, a large stage at one end, a sushi bar at the other end. Lots of windows brightening the interior off the back parking lot. Daily drink specials. Huge deck with seating as well. Looks like they have good Smashburgers and other items. It’s really close to my house and I’ll be back. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Sushi was really good. Bacon Smash Burger wasn't bad. Reasonably priced for all, to include adult beverages. Staff extremely friendly. Nice facility with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating will be shaded by the building in the evening hours. Parking can be, and was at this time, combursome. However, don't let a full parking lot fool you. Still plenty of seating. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Clean awesome place! Our sushi was amazing, as well as the spicy edamame. We had a great server and a great experience. Our to go box was left on the table and thrown away, but they came out and offered the make another one of the firey flatbreads to go for us. MAJOR 5 stars. We loved it and will definitely be back! Just tried this place out for lunch and it was a pretty bad experience. There is obviously no communication between the sushi line and the back kitchen. The sushi as an entree came out 10 minutes before the kids food and 15 minutes before the burgers. The chicken tenders were burnt and dry as seen in the picture and the server defended it by saying that the ranch in the batter turns it that color. The fries were soggy and tasted like frozen food. All that for $70 for 3 adults and 1 kid. I would advise against coming here until they get things together. Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
This place has been on our radar for a WHILE. We have called Fletcher our home for the last 7 years and being avid sports fans..there was always a gigantic sports hole in our area…..enter Mudpuppies…did the product match our hype?………. Heck yes! Upon entering the first thing you’ll notice is the cleanliness of the restaurant…let’s be honest…if you walk into a place serving raw food and it’s dirty…probably need to run. The greeters we’re extremely friendly and we informed them we would like to sit in the bar area. There are two bars, a general bar and the sushi bar. Both areas are extremely spacious and can hold plenty of patrons without feeling compacted. As we sit down we were once again greeted by Joe the bartender. This guy was hilarious! Seriously, you can tell this guy loves his job! My wife and I were rolling at his jokes. Being our first time we asked Joe for an appetizer recommendation, he said the fried Ramen Mac-n-Cheese bites were the ticket…he was absolutely correct. These bites were a perfect size and filled with flavor. They paired well with our IPA beers…oh and while I’m talking beer…WELL DONE guys! While they do have the usual suspects on tap, they clearly know their geographic area. They had a huge selection of our local microbrews on tap. It’s clear they are extending a warm welcome to our local crafters! As we chatted with Joe, another guy came up and started a conversation with us, it turned out to be Louis, the general manager. He clearly is the heartbeat and leader of this restaurant. He’s not your typical GM, this guy will clearly wait tables, greet guest, pour a drink, whatever it takes to make sure the guest is properly taken care of! It came time to order food, I chose the Surf and Turf smash burger with fries, my wife chose the Mudpuppy and spicy tuna rolls. We honestly thought nothing could beat the service, well….enter the food! My burger was cooked to PERFECTION, my wife’s sushi rolls were also amazing! The fish was beautiful, fresh and beautifully plated. As we sat eating a young lady came up to us to ask how our food was, this turned out to be Amenda, the kitchen manager. It’s absolutely easy to understand why she is in this position, she knows the menu well and clearly takes pride in everything that comes out of the kitchen! She chatted with us for a while and we paid our tab. In closing, I can see this place becoming an absolute staple in our area for not only amazing food but amazing service as well. As stated previously, we were absolutely hungry for a good sports themed bar to watch a game..add in the twist of sushi along with a full menu of bar food staples…this place is going to dominate! Joe, Louis, Amenda, if you get a chance to read this review, I truly want to thank you all for a great dining experience!
Cool vibes, good food. The mudpuppy roll was my favorite of the three pictured, would definitely get it again. I’d be down to try their other rolls or some of the other things on the menu. As for the edamame.. I loved it! It is super spicy though so get ready for the heart burn or just finish off the meal with their fried ice cream! Overall, we enjoyed it. We’ll be back. This is the number 1 sushi restaurant in the USA. The team of people waiting on you really care about your experience when dining in. There are enough tvs going in there for everyone to watch their own thing. The desserts where out standing as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I highly recommend Mudpuppies Sports and Sushi Bar not only for their delectable smash burgers but also for the exceptional service provided by their outstanding waitress (Karsyn C). Dining here was a truly delightful experience, and I can't wait to return for more delicious burgers and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in search of a top-notch burger joint with a side of exceptional service. Really good smash burgers.
