Totally impressed with the consistency of flavour and taste. For years Mubins has been number one grill Mishkaki place for this very same reason. Whilst there check out their Mince meat chappati, they are by far the best I have had in many a visit to this coastal paradise

No cutleries provided . Poor ambience. Had only one waitress running all over the place , cannot blame her for getting the orders messed up . Had to call her numerous times to get the orders correct . Owner needs to look after the welfare of the staff. Felt like they wanted us to eat quickly and get out , the cleaner saw the empty plates and took it away, not asking if we are finished: there was food on the table , we were just talking waiting to eat the next lot . Should have the courtesy to ask if we were finished or needed anything else . Started cleaning the table before the bill had been paid. An experience that will not recommend to anyone.
The owner needs to address the needs and treat his staff well. Create an environment that they are not rushed so a better customer service is provided and ensure at least there are cutleries on the table.
Food is tasty and passion fruit juice is really good .

One of the oldest swahilli bbq spots in Mombasa,so you can be sure they are quite good in their craft.
Must try the nundu, juicy,soft and literally melts in your mouth.

The service was very hands on I unfortunately did get my food last but small things coz it was sooo good it was worth every bite honestly
Esp the loaded fries gosh loved it

Btw the prices are so reasonable or should I say cheap for the quality of food

I only had chicken tikka as it was quite late at night and did not want a heavy meal. The tikka was delicious.
The owner walked around asking if everything was okay. Much appreciated. I want to try their mshikaki so I'll be back with an update.
Nice mishkaki and foods but poor service especially when crowded, had to wait for almost 30 minutes for clean tables from the earlier customers. There's need to have more staff.
Located in a quite area, food was very tasty. Service was a little slow, the waitresses need to trained to complete the orders.
Overall very good experience, highly recommended.

The mishkaki and tikka is delicious and tender. However I wouldn't advice for a quiet dinner for couples. The place is more of a group outing. Most tables are outside which is good for fresh air, it may get tricky when there is sudden rain.
