I find this place very interesting. Luckily we came early to find ample tables are available. Before long, it’s packed. Food is served promptly after order is taken. What can you complain about? Sushi is very fresh. Neta (ネタ) is fresh, Shari (シャリ) is just right, just so you can try a good variety. Solid 4.5 star. Service was good, super fast to start and at order 3 slowed down and order 6 was very slow. But usually what happens at AYCE places. The food was great the short rip was amazing! Only complaint was the Uni, tasted bitter and over briney and unfresh and the Qual eggs were lacking in flavor complexity very basic egg rice and nori. But everything else was good if not great. I will be back! Get the I've cream it's great AYCE sushi was $29.95 total with tax for 2 was $65. We recently learned about this new sushi bar, impressed by the reviews and of course the prices, which are quite reasonable compared to many other establishments. Yesterday we decided to check it out and were pleasantly surprised! Service is excellent, kitchen and waiters work quickly and smoothly, not bad cocktails, especially strawberry 🍓 unfortunately there is no refill function for regular drinks. As for the dishes, the choice is great, rolls, sushi, but you need to read the menu carefully, as many of them are spicy, and if you as well as I feel bad from spicy, be careful. I liked the shrimp in coconut with cream sauce and sushi with salmon caviar the most. Everything is super, I recommend to visit 👍🏼 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Coconut Shrimp
Greeted upon entry and seated immediately for lunch. Had the All You Can Eat option. My group had a total of nine rolls. They looked great. Very pleasing. They tasted just okay. The fish toppings on each roll was the displeasing part. The eel was more mushy than anything. The snapper did not bite through and was chewy as well. The scallops were very chewy and did not taste fresh. Of the nine rolls i did really like the Whatbthe Wong Roll. So this is my second time coming here. Can’t believe I never tried it after seeing it so many times but I had my favorites I used to go to. I came here after oyshi lost its customer service and fish quality . Second time I came here was after oyshi on rainbow. I went there sat at the bar like I usually do since I used to go there every week but this time the manager Pete was soo rude . I asked the guy sweeping vigorously when there was open fish and sauce laying around so I asked if he can kinda kick it down a notch since customers were there so he didn’t speak no English so when I asked the manager if he can tone it down a notch he asked if the the hostess know I’m seated (I’m the only one at the bar😒.) so I said I let her know yes but he said that guy sweeping isn’t violating the health code . Like who says that. So then he said if I didn’t like that I can leave 😵‍💫so I left . And I’m glad I did. I will never go there again. I gave them another chance .people need to learn how to provide customer service and common sense if you want your business to stay afloat 🤷🏻‍♀️. My family has had Italians restaurants and I’ve been in the hospitality business for decades . I definitely recommend business teaching customer service in this day n age. You will make a lot of money because it’s very rare to find nowadays . It’s a shame . But this place gives it all. Customer service ambiance and food quality piecing is just right. 🙌🏽🫶🏼🤌🏽highly recommend this place. Hasn’t disappointed me yet and I am an honest critic . Everything about this place is awesome! Cool decor, great music, good service, and the food is top notch. We loved the creative apps (japchae crunch was so good!!) and the sushi selection was fantastic. The fish was fresh and the cuts were generous, also they don't use too much rice. Can't wait to go back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nigiri

Service and bussers were on point, did their part and left. Not a lot of small talk, which I prefer. Edamame Shrimp lover, vegas roll (without cream cheese), baked scallop, baked lobster, monkey d Luffy were really good! Full moon's tangy sauce was too tangy for my liking. Plenty of options for sushi rolls. More selection of ice cream flavors than other sushi restaurants. Love the little anime character figurines on display! A Culinary Sojourn at MR. SHOTA is nothing short of an exquisite adventure, a journey through the artistry and finesse of Japan itself. This transcendent experience merits no less than a five-star rating. In this review, I shall elucidate the superlative experience that unfolded within the confines of MR. SHOTA. To commence my epicurean journey, I must first extol the appetizer, a delightful prelude to the following gastronomic symphony. The Coconut Shrimp in a shot glass was a revelation in presentation and taste. The crispy, golden-brown shrimp, generously coated in a luscious coconut batter, arrived in individual shot glasses, adding a unique touch to the dining experience. The first bite was nothing short of a sensory explosion. The shrimp were impeccably cooked, boasting a delicate crunch that yielded succulent, juicy flesh, and the subtle infusion of coconut flavor was a sublime marriage of the exotic and the familiar. Next up were the pork belly sliders, expertly grilled to caramelized perfection. The tender meat was sandwiched between soft buns, and the sauce was perfectly balanced, sweet, and savory. Every bite was a revelation of flavors and textures that exemplified MR. SHOTA's culinary prowess. Yet, the zenith of the dining experience at MR. SHOTA was undoubtedly the all-you-can-eat sushi special. The array of sushi rolls presented an unrivaled showcase of craftsmanship and flavor. Each roll was a masterstroke of balance, precision, and artistry. The freshness of the fish was unparalleled, and the rice possessed an ideal, slightly sticky texture that made for perfect sushi—the diverse selection of rolls catered to every palate, from classic favorites to creative concoctions, which segue us into embarking on an Anime Adventure at MR. SHOTA Sushi Restaurant MR. SHOTA's fusion of anime and sushi is a revelation, a culinary endeavor that celebrates both art forms with equal fervor. The moment I looked at the anime-themed sushi rolls, I knew I was in for a treat. These edible masterpieces, a fusion of visual creativity and foodie prowess, were visually enchanting and a statement of the culinary ingenuity of the establishment. First on the stage was the Akatsuki roll, which would have made any Naruto fan's heart skip a beat. The presentation was awe-inspiring, with the roll resembling the iconic Akatsuki robe from the anime. As I took my first bite, the flavors were equally striking. The fresh, succulent tuna was enveloped by perfectly seasoned sushi rice, while a drizzle of unagi sauce provided a sweet yet savory note that harmonized beautifully. The addition of crispy tempura bits offered a delightful textural contrast. It was a captivating balance of flavors and aesthetics. Inspired by the eponymous character, the Naruto role was another tour de force. This roll's delicate yet intricate design, with thin slices of onion serving as the 'noodles,' was a visual delight. The roll itself was orange, which celebrates freshness in addition to the main character's color theme. Inside, pristine crab and avocado were combined, making for a light and refreshing taste. Every bite was a tribute to Naruto's resilience and zest for life. It's important to highlight the impeccable service at MR. SHOTA. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about their craft, enhancing the dining experience. In conclusion, my dining experience at MR. SHOTA was a delightful celebration of anime and sushi, where creativity and taste converged exceptionally. The Akatsuki roll, Naruto roll, California roll, and pork belly sliders were enchanting, each paying homage to their anime inspirations while delivering a symphony of flavors. The coconut shrimp in a shot glass and the array of sushi rolls in the all-you-can-eat special were sublime, offering a glimpse into the unparalleled culinary artistry that defines this establishment. MR. SHOTA's ability to transform traditional sushi into edible works of art is a testament to their culinary excellence. If you're an anime enthusiast or a sushi lover, this place is for you! Wow hands down sushi. I am picky with my sushi and I prefer rice less and flavorful. This place include that kind of sushi in there special all you can ate too. Don’t forget the ice cream at the end, I don’t like ice cream but that one is a low sugar taste ice cream I like it because it has a mild taste that you can enjoy without overpowering your taste. We need one in Arizona please. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
