We believe that we may have found the best French Press coffee in Ho Chi Minh City. Full bodied and full flavoured, the French Press at Mon Amis Cafe - accompanied by some very good, warmed croissants with strawberry jam - absolutely made our day. Add the superb, knowledgeable service and the fact that their coffee beans are available for purchase at a very (very) fair price and you have yourself a new favourite coffee shop. Been here twice, and I definitely will be a regular. The owner is a great guy, very passionate about providing the best service and of course the best coffee. He also suggested a few cool places to visit while in Saigon. The decor and the atmosphere is top, and the shop has a lovely view to a park. The croissant is the best I had in HCMC so far, and as I was curious, he made me taste almost everything. You won’t regret stopping by. We had a very good cold brew latte 🧋 and a mango peach tea 🥭 as well and an extremely authentic croissant 🥐 for breakfast. We will come again and would definitely recommend this place. Second time to Ho Chi Min City Vietnam and fortunate enough to find this culinary gem in the heart of the city in a convenient location. I stopped by yesterday (January 16th, 2024) and because the coffee, tea and were so delicious, I decided to come again the following day. On day one I had the French Press coffee with condensed sweet milk. The Vietnamese coffee was perfect by itself, but I found the condensed sweet milk added additional depth and flavor to the coffee. Today around lunchtime, I had the croissant ham and cheese which consisted of a crispy, flakey croissant which was buttery and melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend this. I also had the soursop tea which was a generous portion and the green thai tea. If you are looking for the best cafe in Ho Chi Min City with the friendliest service please enjoy Mon Ami Cafe on your next visit. You will be pleasantly surprised by quality of there product and service. We had the LA & Coconut Coffee (CC). Both are nice and refreshing. CC its not to sweet yet there is a delicate hint of coconut in the coffee. Great start of our day.
