By far the best Halal Dim Sum in Miri with affordable prices (cheapest RM4.80). The restaurant is very spacious, open air concept but with plenty of fans to keep it cool. The staffs were friendly and service was quite fast. All food was served piping hot and freshly made. You know the dim sum and Chinese dishes are good when theres quite a number of Chinese customers dining in. Heres what we ordered: DIM SUM. We really liked the chicken sui mai, shark fin dumpling, szechuan sui mai, prawn cheese roll and century egg roll. Tastes is comparable to the original except halal using chicken. However, the sweet sour roll, chicken feet and the prawn cheong fun were not so great. Chicken feet was not the usual red braise sauce, instead, it was plain and oily. The prawn cheong fun had a huge prawn in each but the skin was not silky smooth and you can taste the flour. Overall, everything else really deserves the praise. PENANG KUEH TIAW. So delicious and flavourful with plenty of clams. Has the wok hei taste, and the noodles were nice and chewy. Probably just a little bit too salty. Overall, we enjoyed having our breakfast here. Would definitely come back for the dim sum. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shark Fin Dumpling
This restaurant serves halal Chinese and Malay food which I find it just alright. The dim sums are quite big but somewhat soggy to my dismay. But the taste is quite alright. Other than the dim sums, we also ordered the Tom Yum Seafood Mee Hoon and Wet Buttermilk Chicken with rice. The mee hoon was a disappointment because the taste of the tom yum was non-existent. The buttermilk chicken, however, was good as it was not sweet as you typically find in most restaurants. If you want to find a halal dim sum place with a good price, this would be the place. Their other dishes, however, is a hit and miss. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

As a regular customer, I ordered mee goreng without bean sprouts today, but it was served with them. Despite reminding the waitress and having it noted, the replacement only removed some sprouts and they were still present. The waiting time exceeded 40 minutes despite the crowded setting for 2 set rice Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
📌Ming Xin Café, Miri Halal Dim Sum seems to be the new hype. 🥘🥓🥞 This Halal Dim Sum restaurant in Miri makes it to one of the top Dim Sum experiences I've ever had. Going by the name of Ming Xin Café, locals frequent this place so often that the dim sum very quickly runs out. The busiest period is in the morning, where regulars order bowl after bowl of freshly made Dim Sum dishes. Since it is a Halal restaurant, every single race in Miri converges here. At RM 5.20 per portion, the dishes are definitely worth it. I've been here twice, and the Dim Sum tastes amazing! Just look at the pictures! The glutinous rice with chicken was rich with flavour, and the fried bean curd rolls were as crisp as could be. Aside from Dim Sum, other Halal Chinese dishes are served, such as Kolo Mee or Fishball soup. Really good stuff. This is a must-visit destination if you visit Miri Town.
