McDonald's is pretty near Carpinteria Valley Museum of History. According to the guests' opinions, waiters serve tasty ice cream here. The food was okay, but fries were completely unsalted, and my large fries were filled only halfway. Service was not great. The employee kept walking away while taking my order and was not friendly. I was also upset by the fact that they would not give me ranch with my order unless I paid 25 cents. That's my first time experiencing that at a McDonald's. Definitely won't be back to this location. Customer inputs your own order into a machine and pays. They give you your food - no money changed hands. We were hungry and this was right off the freeway in Carpinteria. Most times I've been here a very simple order has been wrong. The manager said he doesn't know how to work the restaurant app, and he's a young man. This place literally needs a new crew altogether. So I ordered a large fry a couple of minutes ahead of time then walked into the restaurant stood and waited. It took longer then it should have because I had to wait on frys being cooked but thats ok. I sat down to enjoy my fries and put a movie on to watch whilst I was eating. I wasnt going to watch the whole thing obviously just about 25 or so minutes. I was sat there about 5 minutes and this middle aged white man who works there was pacing up and down the area where I was eating and kept looking at me. He continued to do this the entire time as I was eating as if he had nothing better to do. Literally the second I put the last fry in my mouth he told me I had to leave. He said this to me after 18 minutes. This was by far the most uncomfortable Ive ever been at a McDonalds. I worked at one for 6 months in Belfast, Ireland when I was 18. Im doing a walking challenge from San Francisco to San Diego and Ive been too many. This was by far the worst customer service Ive ever received. This mans attitude towards me and the way he treated me was completely uncalled for. I demand this feedback be treated very seriously and would like to be contacted back either via email or phone and would like to know what repercussions this man will be facing for such rudeness. Worst McDonalds on the entire planet. Big Mac was cold and dried out. The burger patties were dry as a bone and obviously had been cooked 12-24 hours before I purchased. Fries were cold, hard as a rock, horrible. So wish we had an actual good McDonalds in Carpinteria not this horrible one.
