This location is in the heart of Oak Park/ Chicago. It's always busy. It used to be GREAT! It's slowly improving. With the number of drive thru patrons, the staff is pretty good with getting you served. Sometimes I use the app to order and wait in drive thru/ Curbside spaces. The downfall seems to be the unruly teens and indigent individuals begging in the drive thru and loitering inside. I thought that since it's directly nextdoor to Oak Park's municipal building, the problem wouldn't exist this bad! I've patronized this location on/off over 30 years and I only go out of convenience. The food isn't that bad, but only by drive thru. Customer service seems to be questionable EVERYWHERE! This morning my Egg McMuffin was undercooked and runny! I didn't have the patience of returning to the restaurant! The food is okay, considering it’s McDonalds and it’s fast food. I recommend getting the food through mobile order and picking up rather than grubhub. The service may be a little slow, but the staff is very nice. The clientele are a bit impatient, and you run the chance of seeing a few.. charismatic people there. I use to like this place but it’s too many beggars standing outside the establishment. They standing near the entrance, by drive through window and walking up to cars. It make you not want to stop in or dine in due to feeling like you may get robbed! We made an order to McDonald’s through Uber eats app, we ordered 2 cactus plant flea market with the collectibles, but they didn’t sent to us the toys, the only reason why we made this order and when we called to the Madison & Taylor store, the attendant was so rude and he did nothing to help us. Something about this location as the mobile app and menu boards don't match. Tried to order Two Happy meals with a Combo but app kept saying not available. Ordered Quarter pounder meal and got a big Mac for 25¢. 2 Regular cheeseburgers and a Medium fries instead. The fries were chewy, without a crunch. Quarter pounder saves this from a 2 star review. Had to wait after giving my pick up number, three other orders left before mine was delivered. Why have an app if it makes you wait longer and not able to order what's on the menu. #mobileappfail

Omg I came in at 3:30 when kids were out of school. The place was packed. No one was on the register. They kept telling us to use the kios. There was a dad with his 3 kids in line Frustrated. He and I did not know how to use the kios. After our 15 minute wait. We all left. That's 5 people that did not get served. Have more workers on staff in the afternoon when kids get out of school. And don't tell us to use the kios. Just take our order !!!! Service: 1
