Take a break and degust tasty burgers. Good muffins deserve ordering. Here you may have good milkshakes or good coffee. Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. Many guests consider the staff well-trained. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. The exotic atmosphere offers a relaxing feel to a guests' stay at McDonald's. But most people who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

Good day. This morning around 5h45 me and my two kids ages 3 and 12 years took our changes to see if McDonald's is open for sit down inside the restaurant. As we approached the door, it was still closed with a notice on the door " Trading hours Monday - Sunday 6:00 - 23;00" So we decided to take a seat outside and wait until it opens. There was staff wandering around that saw us outside in the cold, but no one took the initiative to attend to us or even just to come and clarify. At 6:05 I got worried. I ask the guy who come out to mop the floor outside about the opening times, he said the doors only open at 6H30. I then told him about the notice on the door he said it's meant for drive through. I then I asked him if it is possible to call the manager in charge. He polity said, yes went inside and gave my massage. I waited another 5mins, took a walk around the drive through, leaving my daughter with our bags, trying to see if I can talk to someone. Came back just to found that no manager has make an appearance yet. I disturbed the guy again asking him about the manager. His answer to me was " I don't know ma 'am, the manager was busy. So, now I want to know what do I do in this situation? It is clear to me that we are not that important. I took a picture of the notice and it definitely doesn't state "drive through" Can you please clarify what the real trading hours are? What was more important that the manager couldn't assist us? From 7 October 2023 we boycott McDonald's but as treat for the kids we went to buy food from the App. In store. Ordering was eventful as we couldn't decide what to eat. Used our free reward. Food took for ever. The service was pathetic just call the number and drop the food. Now the reward came same bad service not to speak of the stinking attitude. I spent R450 on the meal. When we got home a burger was missing with extra chips. At the price of petrol and me arguing with those lot for a burger is not worth the effort. Don't go there you will better service at Burger King. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
McDonald's should consider closing it's drive through. Not ONLY is the service super slow... but did I bought two breakfasts with coffee. The coffee were so cold. I had to drink it with ICE coffee in mind. Super frustrating. Upon trying to phone their landlines in order to inform them... The service is inconsistent. Maybe it's different people working every time I sit here and wait on my lift, mind you, I order something something every day. The one day, all smiles and quick service , the next day, you get ignored while standing at the till, and they continue to talk in their language. Consistency is key! There drive thru is extremely slow. Only use it if you're prepared to wait for an hour for your lunch. And expect them to get your order wrong. Not a big fan of their customer service. We ordered from using the Uber Eats app recently and we were actually shocked at the service that was provided to us. The delivery driver only brought half of our food and once we told him that he said he needed that half back and he will be returning to the restaurant to fix it. Once we saw on the app that the order has been processed as a successful order we realised our mistakes and got in the car and drove to McDonalds Durbanville. We do acknowledge that the fault was not at Mcdonalds side, the following is what made me write this review. When we got there we asked to speak to the manager to sort out this mess, and the manager laughed in our faces and kept repeating that we are not their customer, we are UberEats’ customer. Although we do understand that, we have no way of contacting UberEats directly except via email, and their lead time via email is very poor. AND at this stage we have logged a query on the uber eats app with no response. Keeping all this in mind, we got there and the manager laughed in our face. When we exited the building we saw the UberEats drivers eating our food and laughing. I will never be supporting this McDonalds again as well as UberEats. For context, it was a R800 order that we received nothing of and essentially lost all of that money (for a student that is A LOT of money). I would love to hear back from McDonalds, but I highly doubt that happening. (We do have photo evidence, but google won’t allow me to upload it)
This is now the 3rd time in a matter of months were items have been left out of our order. Food quality is the worst I have experienced. It's asif ordering via Mr.D the old leftover food is what's given. We literally live down the road, so food freshness should never be a question. Chips are cold, chicken burgers are always dry. Absolutely disgusted by the slow drive thu service. Waiting way longer than what the McDonald's policy promises to deliver. Management need to be able to maintain good flow. Pathetic when it comes to opening. Time clearly states 6am but still not open after 7am. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
