I've been waiting for this restaurant to open as I've been driving past the sign for many weeks. It did not disappoint! Deepak was welcoming and explained the history of this family owned Nepali restaurant. The food is all made from scratch, and is healthy and light. I had the Samosas and Steamed Chicken Momos. They were both excellent! I will be back! Of note: they have a good amount of vegetarian dishes. Excited to have Maya Asian in the community! Maya in Harrisburg is a delightful Nepali restaurant! I savored their chicken kothay momo, tea, and aloo chop, all of which were absolutely delicious. This was my first experience with Nepalese food and WOW, it was out of this world!! We had Buttered Chicken with rice, the pork Momos, Samosa and Sukuti. All of it was deliciously seasoned and not overseasoned. You can feel the love that went into making the dishes. The chicken was so tender and the Momos were absolutely perfect. The staff was so nice and the restaurant was spotless. It's definitely a little spot with fabulous food. We will be regular customers from now on. I would post photos but an empty plate isn't appealing. I highly recommend this restaurant!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was in and ordered two appetisers and the Lassi. I had a long day so asked to carry out. Walking in the door the room is bright and open. The dining tables and chairs, although simple and practical, add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space. The host was very helpful when answering my questions about the menu items. The Mango Lassi was delicious and when I got home my young adult son was very approving of the new tastes we were experiencing. I will be back to try all of your menu items in many future visits.
