I don’t know what they did with their sauce, but it was amazing!!! Like no joke, one of the best sauce I’ve tasted in New Zealand. Also, the potato is crunchy and properly fried! 4 of us visiting Blenheim from the North Island for the wine and food festival, searched online for somewhere to book on the Friday night, well I am glad we booked, the place was packed out, we ordered cocktails to start.... amazing drinks, and right from the start the service was 110% on point, then it was entrees and a bottle of bubbles on ice, and onto the mains and desert, the atmosphere, the drinks, the food, the service cannot be faulted, we were all so impressed and will definitely return here on our next trip. MPH was the place we picked for our last dinner of our family trip to Blenheim and it was a great pick. We chose it because of its reviews and late closing time. We ordered the steak, risotto, pork belly and prawn salad and they were all soooo good. The steak and risotto ranked highest. Entrees were really good too, especially the calamari. Service was good and we had someone periodically checkin in with us and clearing the table. We were hoping to enjoy some live music but the band was yo come on much later at 10om. Great location inside and out. Burger was hot favorite, juicy and full of flavor. Service was excellent. Lost 1 star for the fish it was tough and chewy with a texture like chicken not fish. Will visit again to try other items.

Went here for lunch with family. Very spacious inside. Not a bad place. Plenty to choose from on the menu and the food was ok. Very nice fries. A bit of a wait for the food even with it not looking very busy. I would return again for drinks and sides, as it seemed to cater more to the bar side of things, but probably not for a full meal.
