This place has the largest variety of cakes I've ever seen. Over the years the selection has gotten less and the slices smaller but you can't beat the value and taste any place else!

I tried the peach cobbler. I got it from a restaurant who is selling Maritas deserts. I had to search the original seller because it was bad. ! That is not peach cobbler. It taste like loads of nutmeg and sweet and low and it does not have crust I have no clue what it has but it’s giving bread like a crepe or something . And soy beans in a peach cobbler why??? I don’t know it just wasn’t for me , if you like traditional peach cobbler this is not the one .
How is this place still in business? This is a desert company but the deserts are not good. I don’t mean to be harsh but I don’t even want to eat it. Today My daughter bought 4 different flavored slices of cake. None of them were good. They cake was dry on every one except the chocolate on chocolate and to add insult to injury they put the thinnest layer of frosting I have ever had on a cake so it doesn’t even help moisten it up. Now the reason I ask why they are still in business. Several years ago I went and we bought multiple deserts cake slices and Pie. None of it was good. It was not even mediocre. It wasn’t good at all. I wouldn’t say it was disgusting, but everything was dry. Even worse they put almost no icing on the cakes then either. I never went back. I didn’t bother to do a review as I wasn’t sure if I just came on a bad day or what. This time I am just flabbergasted how a desert company with terrible deserts has managed to stay open so long. I have literally made way better cakes from a box.
No idea how a place has such polarizing reviews and experiences. I think I've had the banana pudding but Isn't it just nilla wafewrs and pudding? Right now, though, I'm eating the most disgusting peach cobbler I've ever even heard of. I would not be surprised if they said they poured sprite in here as an ingredient. I can't even just pick out the peaches and try those.
But... why did they have good reviews at the resteraunt I bought it from? Like someone said this was good. There are these burnt brown pieces I can't even have on my tongue. Worst part? I don't waste food! I have a food disorder that means I get extremely uncomfortable at the idea of rejecting or wasting food, I usually have to ask my boyfriend to toss things for me or I'll tell him to 'eat it' and he'll just toss it when I step away.
And I'm about to throw this whole thing away it's inedible! It sounds like theres an issue when you send out the refrigerated desserts, maybe? Just remember that those places still have your label on it so if they're doing something wrong or instructing people wrong? Or, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this was expired? I got it at JJs in vallejo.
This place is so good! The customer service is amazing the workers are so sweet! I will def be coming back her multiple times their cakes are the absolute best! I can’t explain how amazing they are when I walk in there it smells like heaven!! 🫶🫶
The desserts are available at different restaurants. I went to Rays today and had a peach cobbler, pecan pie & Carmel cake. The coobler was disgusting. It tasted like cinnamon soup. The crust was tuff and barely and peaches. The pecan pie was yummy but a little tuff from the refrigeration. The cake was very dry but dulce was delicious.
The best cake's hands down !! We ordered two cakes for my birthday dinner a German Chocolate cake and a Caramel Cake absolutely delicious everyone was asking who did I order the cakes from. I will be placing another order soon.
I wanted to love this place cuz it's super close to my house and has high reviews but even Safeway cake is better. I got the caramel cake, banana cake, sweet potato pie and banana pudding. The banana cake is fake tasting. No banana even in the ingredients lists. Sweet potato pie has too much spice. It's overwhelming. Banana pudding is also artificial tasting, no sign of real banana and needs more pudding. Caramel cake is plain, not worth the purchase. Sadly, I won't be going back.
