We were seated at the worst table in the restaurant, near a pile of garbage outside without a fan to keep flies away. When I asked to move to a better table under a fan, the waitress refused despite open tables. Flies swarmed our food, so I had to relocate myself and carry plates to a more comfortable table with a fan. Unfortunately, I was too upset to eat the meal and what I did taste wasn't great either.

Service was HORRIBLE. We were waiting for about 40 minutes before we approached our server asking if they can check on our food. She said they ate now plating the dishes. We ordered all entrees with 2 apps. One app came out about 20 more minutes after that (ceviche), then the second (3 sliders) another 20 minutes after. After another 40 minutes and asking 2 different servers about our food again and them repeatedly saying 'a few more minutes', we finally got our entrees. The front of house staff were not fo used at all to anyone. They were just messing around and preparing there own dinners.

Firstly, the customer service was horrible. We’ve been there for about 2/3 hours and the waitress only came up to us twice. It took the drinks to come out atleast twenty minutes after we ordered them. It took the appetizer (ceviche) an extra thirty minutes to come out after we ordered. And the entrees came out about an hour / hour and a half later. (Pescado) y (Pasta de camarones) The pescado came out first than the pasta came out about 40 minutes after. which is ridiculous. The portion was very very small for the price point and the flavor was so sweet it was nothing like fettuccine alfredo. i made a complaint and the waitress who attended us told us they can take it back or i can keep it. i told them to take it back. when the check came i was still charged for the meal and i asked why? she told me since i took a bite out of the food it was then ineligible for me to get my money back but if that was the case why take back my food and not offer something different? i’ve never been to a restaurant where your money is not guaranteed back after taking back a dish you dislike . DO NOT RECOMMEND.

So, I went to Marinera Restaurant last week, it was on a Tuesday night. The place was crowded, but it didn't feel overwhelming.
Our waitress, Katiria was knowledgeable of the menu and helped us select our dishes. There were a variety of appetizers, we chose piquillo con jueyes, tabla de quesos, and bunuelos; they were delicious. The main dishes were excellent as well. Prices were on the high side, but as the saying goes: you get what you pay for. My family and I were very pleased with our dining at Marinera.

Fabulous! Great menu and something very different in Combate.
Every restaurant in the area offers basically the same menu but you won’t find mofongo or empanadillas on this menu!
Higher end menu
Extensive specialty cocktail menu too! They have tapas, appetizers and the main courses are so good! I have been here 4 times and I’m going back for more.
Pet friendly, very busy on the weekends so please be patient.

Food was very cold and sweet.The pasta took over an 1 hour to come out, they were very rude to me and my wife I came on vacation to enjoy myself and enjoy the food. Not a pleasant experience what so ever do not recommend, food is overpriced as well just not a good environment to be in.
