Recently visited Mapua Wharf and what a beautiful spot it is! This place has a real charm to it, with a lovely mix of shops, galleries, and eateries. It's a great place to wander around, take in the sights, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. The wharf itself offers beautiful views, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or to just sit and soak in the scenery. There's a variety of shops that sell unique and locally made items, ideal for finding unique souvenirs or gifts. Prices were pretty good too. The eateries here are a highlight too. Lots too choose from, there's something for everyone. There are lots of spots to sit and enjoy your meal with a view. Overall, Mapua Wharf is a must-visit if you're in the area. It's a great place to relax, shop, and eat, all in a beautiful waterfront setting.

This is a beautiful place, lovely boutique shops, restaurants and ice cream! We hired bikes from Kiwi Journeys here for the cycle trail. Rabbit Island is fantastic too. Definitely have to visit Mapua

Great place to go for lunch or coffee. Excellent fish and chips and several good eateries. Lovely views over the river and there's a ferry to Rabbit Island.
Loved this place. Good choice of eateries, quirky shops and lovely views.
Just 30 minutes from Nelson City, the charming seaside villages of Mapua & Ruby Coast are increasingly becoming favourite holiday spots for tourists and locals alike. With a lively cluster of restaurants, art galleries, wine bars and a craft brewery, Mapua is the perfect place to relax and unwind for a long weekend away. Hire a bike and cycle Tasman's Great Taste Trail, which stretches from central Nelson through to Motueka. Just offshore, Rabbit Island offers a treat for mountain bikers with a network of trails just waiting to be explored. A little ferry departs Mapua Wharf regularly for the Island, with room for passengers and their bikes.
What a beautiful place, had a lovely weekend there. Plenty of choices for wine and dine.
Love the liveliness of this place, doesn't matter when you come around you always would find something fun to do, something yummy to eat😊

This place has a fantastic friendly atmosphere about it. Beautiful little village with a great selection of cafes and bars to enjoy the setting. Spent hours here and will return
We visited Mapua Wharf for the first time on Sunday afternoon and were very pleased to have done so. There is a nice selection of outlets, including restaurants, smaller eateries, a craft brewery and craft shops, together with community facilities such as green recreation areas and seating for a performance area. Water sports have plenty of space, too. The Mapua Ferry also visits the wharf. It was a cold day, so there were small numbers of people around. However, summer will no doubt draw big crowds. There is quite a bit of parking, but big crowds will fill that quickly. We'll worth a visit!.
