The staff of this Mappillai vilaas restaurant is very polite, the quality of food is good, but if you have such staff in the restaurant, the customers will decrease quickly, there is a place to sit upstairs, but I was not allowed to go, the sound of the AC poo poo is burning my ears, let me eat some food and leave. Biryani, starters, gravy, kothu parota are nice. But they won't provide non veg gravy, salna along with tiffin, only sambar, chutney are provided free along with all tiffin. If salna, plain gravy provided along parota, idli then it will be top class tamil Restaurant with cheap cost. Only this is lacking for their full success. Pongal virundu was amazing at cheap cost. Biryani and brinjal and 65 starters are always ultimate dishes. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Recently, we went to Mapillai Vilaas Restaurant for a light vegetarian dinner and a cup of tea. The menu offered a decent variety of traditional dishes. But most of the things we asked for were finished, and what I found disappointing was that the tea was already finished and it was not even 8 pm. While the flavors were generally good, the overall quality was average. The service was also a little late than usual, but the ambiance has warmth and authenticity. Prices were reasonable, making it a suitable choice for a quick South Indian meal, although it may not be the top choice for a special occasion.
