I had a desperate craving for Japanese food, and Maneki Sushi seemed like the most authentic Japanese restaurant in Enterprise, AL. The beef broth soup with mushrooms was unexpected, but very good. The gyoza was probably the best gyoza I've had since Japan. The tamago sushi roll was quite good, and Japanese styled. As to the tonkatsu bento I thought the tonkatsu was a little too thin. Two tonkatsu pieces come with it, but with them sliced so thin, you don't get a chance to truly enjoy the pork. But it was still good, just not as good as it could have been. The tempura and yum yum sushi was great. The cucumber salad was unique and great. And the fried rice was pretty good, but next time, I'll stick to regular steamed rice. The staff at the restaurant were all great. To that end, I do plan to return here next time I'm in the neighborhood. So decided to try dinner here at Maneki , we heard a lot of good reviews from friends and they did not disappoint. The service was amazing, everyone especially our server were so nice and friendly. Our food was fresh and really good, the sushi was great my soft shell crab roll was fresh and delicious. Not often when I ordered the soft shell crab elsewhere is it that fresh. Our dinner was great and everything came out quickly and the price was greatas well.. Definitely has become one of our go to Japanese spots. First time eating here. Will update after food! Very kind & helpful staff & good prices! *update* got sick feeling after eating here. It comes with the territory every now and then, but when talking about local sushi with new team members after pcs'ing here, learned other have had similar experiences. I'm definitely still looking for my go to sushi spot. The service was great here, they have a nice atmosphere, but the food quality is a let down. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Excellent quality sushi. The hostess / waitress when we first arrived (young girl with blonde hair) was not very friendly and did not communicate well. Once the two dark haired ladies arrived it got better. My only feedback is that you should not bring the check until the customs finished. We ended up ordering more. Overall, loved it and will be back!

Stopped for lunch; first time visit. I got the shrimp tempura bento box from the lunch menu. Service was quick and waitress very courteous. The food was sort of mediocre. While the vegetable tempura was great as far as tempura coating, the veggies needed a little seasoning. The shrimp were also nicely fried however they were dry and tasteless also. Of course there is sauce to dip in but sometimes some foods need a bit of seasoning before cooking. The rice was very bland; not the standard fried rice one sees in most Asian restaurants. It was all okay; will just try something else next time. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Dirty restaurant with poor service! Under new management (new restaurant name). The place is dirty, sticky floors, with bits of food on the floor...and smells like an old taqueria that needs a deep clean. Our server forgot our drinks for the first 15mins.. we got them finally, and after 25 mins of just sitting there, we paid for our drinks and walked out. We had ordered $107 worth of food but after the dirty place and failed service, it was just going to go downhill from there. We went to Chick fil A and that pretty much saved the evening. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place... it will not be in business long. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Prices are great, BUT.. there is no way to order online and you can't order at the drive thru window. There is a uploaded menu that is outdated and you have no idea what is correct without not being able to order online. I ordered the veggies and rice lunch. It was wonderful, yum yum sauce is 50 cent a cup, and the soup it came with was very good. Need the ordering option for online.
Unfortunately i was disappointed. The sushi was dry, the soy sauce even had a very odd, cleaning product taste and within 15 mins of leaving the restaurant after eating....i had stomach issues. Very disappointing and wasted so much $. Going to avoid eating my leftovers bc of the experience afterwards. Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Below is a review I wrote several years ago. I initially gave Maneki 5 stars for quality, service, and decor. Unfortunately, the restaurant seems to be struggling. The facility is visibly not clean, the menu is overpriced for quality of food, and the floors are sticky, visibly dirty. We have eaten recently but the last time we actually walked out due to uncleanliness. Maneki is Saki Sushi but better! They’ve updated their motif but have maintained the quality service and food I’ve grown to love over the years. I’d consider myself a regular. I often take friends and family here because the food is delicious and affordable. But don’t take my word for it! Give it a try!

Watched the sushi chef handle his phone from his back pocket, ear buds, and food all without changing gloves. Everything was cross contaminated. Couldn't eat here.
