The ground beef taco meat was goopy. The shredded beef was too sweet for our liking. The green chili burro was salty. The French fries had a taste of fish, I’m guessing they fried fish then did the French fries. The chips and salsa were pretty good. The food was just not that great. The staff was excellent. We even commented to them that sure hire very nice people. A waiter gave us good ideas about the choices. Extremely friendly. The person that greeted us at the door was very friendly and welcoming. You couldn't ask for anything better. They were short service that day so you had to wait for about 5 or 10 minutes. Happy Hour and Tuesday is definitely when you want to dine here. The Carne asada, Carnitas (hot) and Shredded Beef tacos are excellent. I didn't care much for their thin tortilla chips.

Overall, I was pleased with the restaurant. The salsa had good flavor and was fresh. The chicken enchiladas was good. Slightly disappointed with the spinach dip, not very tasty or had good texture. Our server seemed overwhelmed when the restaurant started to get very whelmed but I don’t think he was a server, they were short staff, so he did well and held his own. An incredibly relaxed and happy atmosphere. We went there for an afternoon lunch on a week day. It was middling busy, but I never felt like I wasn't being taken care of. My drinks were filled promptly and my order was taken quickly. They had new street tacos - oh my gosh. So good. I recommend this for family dinners and other casual dining. they burnt my food. i asked if i go go to the store so i could have it remade, and they told me no because it was done through door dash. makes no sense. they messed up the food and refused to fix it. i wasted too much money and my dink never came either. took a bite think hopefully i could find it bearable to eat, but no i hate the taste of burnt Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1

Macayo's Mexican food is a cool place. This location seems like it's a bigger restaurant in the other ones in the valley. I like that they have outside seating. I'm not sure why but it seems like the food is a little better at this location and then the other Macayo's Mexican food restaurants. I can definitely tell you the customer service is way better hear from my experience. It seems like these people take pride in the work that was keeping the place clean services fast am I order has always been right. My server was always checking up on me to see if I needed anything versus the the other Macayo's Mexican food restaurants it seems like once they serve you your food they disappear until it's time for you to get your check. So if you are in the area I highly recommend this Macayo's Mexican food. One more thing I don't know why but they do have better margaritas then the other Macayo's Mexican food restaurants. Food is excellent and plentiful. Gentleman waiter was top-notch! Responsive and polite and not over bearing. Decor is creative and colorful. Place was much quieter than any other Mexican restaurant I've been in and we were there at the dinner hour. No loud music! The food was not great this time. Chicken tacos were dry and flavorless. The steak (In the steak tacos) was very chewy and a not very good flavor. The street corn appetizer was so spicy that we could not eat it. The tamale bites were good as usual. Our service was good. So I had not done a review for this place until now. Mostly because this is usually by bedtime. But on this day I decided to go, because I was hungry and google wanted it's review from me. So here goes. I arrived about 1pm shortly after sitting the waiter stopped on by and said he'll be right back to take my order and with some chips & salsa. His name was Brett just like me. What are the odds? After saying nice to meet you to myself I was asked if I was ready to order. I was! I have been hankering for a Chimi-changa! Which is something I have not had for a long time so I thought I'd give it s try here to see how it is. I also asked for a raspberry tea and that was it. In about 5 minutes it seemed my order was served hot and ready for me to devour! Along with my tea. I did not expect service to be so soon, but it was kinda slow and well, they have some of the best cooks there. The dishes were spotless as well as the cutlery, and when I was asked if there will be anything else. I couldn't think of anything, because my mind was too occupied with what was before me. Tasty goodness! Whatch out tastebuds! Nom, nom, nom! Nothing less than what I expected. I didn't sit to long as this was a review and I ordered a Mexican pizza to go when Brett stopped in another 8 minutes, to ask how everything was. Impeccable! When I ordered the pizza he politely asked if I needed a to go box for the rest of my Chimi-goodness and chips as well as a small container for the salsa. I said yes, of course. As I placed my leftovers away. I waiting on my pizza. Which arrived in another 10 minutes. Wonderful service and it's not very often you get to say thank you , to yourself. I granted him a nice tip and went on my merry way. The place was clean, tables were wiped down, atmosphere was light except for lite lunch conversation and chattering. I didn't go to the restroom but I'm sure they were clean, judging from what I saw. I will be going back to try something else from the menu, indeed!
