Having seen House of Reptiles and Venomous Reptile Museum, it's time to have a rest at this bar. Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Chinese cuisine is waiting for you. At Lu's Sports Bar & Lounge, guests may try nicely cooked bun cha, soup and kung pao chicken. It might be good to enjoy delicious beer or good liqueur. This used to be a restaurant, and the guy turned it into a bar... Pool tables, video poker, etc. The karaoke is popular but kinda small. Dude has GOT to fix the lights on his sign. There are nights when it's completely off. People who know this place are already going there, but it's hard to recognize if you can't see it! I understand trying to save a few pennies on the electricity, but Jesus... Would be great if he expanded the restaurant and brought it back. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Went to Lu's for karaoke night with a bunch of friends. What a great time they even started a little early for our group. Karaoke host was awesome, bartenders are very friendly and serve good drinks. Food was pretty good and one of the staff members brought our table a craft of water even though there's a water station. I really think they went above and beyond for our group. Will definitely be coming back for karaoke night thanks for the good time. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Fairly good hometown spot. Good: lots of coin operated pool tables, so only a short wait to play, even on weekend nights. And tables are in decent shape. Also, karaoke is available in a somewhat separate room. You don't really notice it unless waiting at the main bar. And the karaoke isn't bothered by the clatter of pool balls. Drinks are affordable (should have put that first). Not so good: food is greasy bar food and service is very slow. Not enough service staff, especially behind the bar. All-in-all, though, a great place to hang with friends!

If you come here to go the bar by the pool hall. Maddy is a dope character. However the bar by karaoke is always backed up, and the guy is rude. Often he will close the bar early due to him having a bad mood or bad night. Outside of that. The atmosphere is dope. Price per person $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Updated version: the more you go the more they expect you to tip more than you have or you won’t get proper drinks made or skipped for a song and get trashed talked. The only one that is decent is the guy who makes the hot food which is always fresh by the way. Not a place to actually enjoy yourself because it’s very clicky. Some of the staff is not honest either. Highly disappointed since I’ve been going there for only 7 months. Just to come find out that this whole time they made a bad environment almost every time I went so that you won’t ever come back after what you might call a “last straw.” They should work on being more accepting . It’s the greed of wanting so much for tips because $5 is not enough they expect $20 or more. I’ve been nothing but nice and to hear from someone else the truth and finding out that the place is actually toxic made me sad. Someone who does labor for a job and doesn’t get anything for a tip from people I’d be happy to get $1 so it puts a bitter taste in my mouth to see employees treat others a certain way just because they didn’t get a tip or the tip that they want. With Karaoke the music seems louder than your voice and the kj doesn’t seem to care. So if you want to really enjoy yourself I don’t recommend this bar. Their pool tables are fun though! I was going to Lu's semi-regularly towards the beginning of the year and summer because they are one of the best spots to go for pool. They have enough tables where you almost never have to wait. I stopped going because the male bartender is so incredibly rude and has some absolutely awful customer service. I tried to give it another shot this last Friday (09/01) and he was working the bar. Once again incredibly rude, incredibly smug, and just puts a damper on the entire place. Everything about the bar is your standard divey vibe, which I enjoy, but I won't go there anymore because of that bartender. The others are also not the warmest but compared to him seem wonderful. I like that I can play pool and do Karaoke, but if the face of your weekends is as comforting as a soggy piece of toast then I'd rather find somewhere else to go. I know that there are other reviews about this guy, and I hope the ownership comes around to listening to them. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Terrible service. Took forever for bartender to get to me for a beer and they kicked everyone out an hour early to their posted closing hours. Also if you have service dogs, don’t come to this place! They will discriminate against you even tho other people have no issues with service dogs. They also discriminate against Deaf people like me by not explaining that they are closing early and just left me stranded outside when i went to smoke outside. Do not go to this place.
