The food here is FANTASTIC! Tastes like authentic Mexican food, and the price is just as good! Our waiter, Angel, was VERY standoffish, compared to the others there, and seemed like he wanted to get us out as soon as he could (it was hours before close). But the atmosphere was very welcoming and authentic, the food was amazing, and the prices were phenomenal! Highly recommend coming here (just be prepared if you have Angel as a waiter). From out of town, place is legit, we really enjoyed our food. To top it off it was priced nicely. $36 for family of 3 boys and 1 girl. I had the Barria tacos and I asked for the hot salsa which was hot and had a good flavor. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The manager is very disrespectful, it’s sad when you go out to dinner and get treated so badly by the manager of a restaurant. And your server rushes you through your dining experience so they can turn a table. I don’t need them, they need me… there is plenty of Mexican restaurants in Wood county WV. All the food taste the same because they buy off the same truck. The experience is what I’m after. We came on Saturday at lunch time with 25 people and no advanced notice. They seated us right away. Server was amazing getting all the drink orders and meal orders correct. He kept replenishing the chips and salsa. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We highly recommend. By far one of the most authentic and spectacular Mexican/Texan fusion restaurants I've ever been too. With an enormous menu, good seating, A+ customer service, and off the beaten path. I ordered chicken chimichanga but was given steak. Steak was grisly on first bite. But the switched it quickly with chicken pineapple which was okay. Not quite the flavor I had hoped for but chicken was tender!

I was born in Parkersburg. But I’ve lived in Texas for ten years. I’m up here visiting the grandparents for the summer and we’ve eaten at this place several times. Dining in has been fine over the years but takeout is another story. On 3 consecutive attempts to get an order right and clearly specifying multiple times while placing the order to not include the guac, lettuce tomatoes and sour cream that is standard with most dishes it all was placed which is an issue because mainly the customer asked for it to not be included but the liquid seeps into the rest of the dish overpowering the flavor and making the other food soggy. That isn’t enjoyable. They have been asked to remake the food due to this and thought it fine to simply lift it themselves and return the same dish. Well it was noticed because it was all still soggy and tasted like lettuce, guac and sour cream. Tried calling to complain but they just leave the line open and won’t talk. So apparently a review somewhere is needed. I take no pride in posting a negative review.Others spending their money simply should know. Done eating here for at least a year. Nearly 50 dollars have been wasted in one week giving multiple chances and thrown in the trash. Don’t forget there are nothing but Mexican establishments to choose from in this region. Our waitress was over the top when it came to serving all the tables, chips and salsa was amazing I kept asking for more. Our food was really good, we came here in memory of my dad and I always going to Mexican restaurants when he was alive( not this one, as we lived in ky) . My father recently passed and got buried in wv and I'm glad I picked this place as it had good reviews and I can see why.
