Amazing service. The servers were like so good and friendly. We walked in for our dinner and were greeted with a huge welcoming smile. They brought everything out super well presented, fresh and tasty. I usually like to hold the last star but Lone star Napier gets the last star as well. Would have given 10 stars if I was able to. Came here for a lovely dinner and we both got sat at a table where we both faced the wall rather than each other so asked to move of course lol I really enjoyed the lamb meal with the mash, the Honkey Tonk Chicken meal however just had some extra bits and bobs that weren’t mentioned in the description when looking online eg corn in the slaw… and sadly when we ordered a glass of coke and raspberry each we got what tasted like a Pepsi? So then we got a mocktail each and those were super super sour, and I know for a fact Pina Coladas aren’t sour so that was a bit of a let down… very overpriced in our opinion especially when the drinks came out and we couldn’t even drink them. But overall, the staff were very friendly, the Milkybar Pud was delicious, didn’t have to wait long for our meals to come out - just hope the drinks come out better next time Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Shout out to Nikki ❤️ Nikki provided the best service I've ever had at a restaurant. She knew the menu like the back of her hand, she never forgot about anything we asked for which was impressive because they were super busy! And she arranged a pavalova to be brought over for my partner because he mentioned it was his birthday. I didn't have to plan any of it and it was free. She also introduced us to the app where we got $20 off using a birthday voucher. She was friendly and bubbly and it made our night so much more special. The food was also amazing, it looked so good I forgot to take a picture of the mains before I'd started eating it. All in all an awesome night 🤩 Food: 5 Service: 5

Visited Lonestar NYs 2024 for dinner with hubby and daughter for my bday The price you pay is on par with the delicious dishes you receive 1. Garlic loaf is a great starter 2. Sirloin Steak meal 3. Pork ribs (this could feed 2ppl easy) 4. Wow so good. So much food for 2 , taste was so good . They have first table which is amazing. Highly recommend . Pawns starter. Main stand by your lamb & BB king ribs. Dessert kiwi pav & longhorn cheesecake. Super tasty. The frozen passion fruit Margarita yum yum. Staff are top!! We received amazing service for my wife, one year old daughter and myself. From entering until leaving we had excellent service from a gentleman and a lovely lady at the front counter. On leaving we even received a little gift for our little girl! A nice little memory to add to our trip around New Zealand. Thank you so much! I had a Deer John and Pork belly, and they were both amazing. It was my first experience of deer meat, and I loved it. The staff was really kind, and the vibe was really good. 👌 although the table was a bit small to fit all the food. But overall, excellent service. Had chocolate pudding for dessert and definitely recommend. Their steak dishes are amazing! Great size, and each dish comes with side chips 🍟 and salad 🥗. For the chips you can choose potato or kumara chips etc., and for the steak sauce we recommend chutneys 🤤. We also tried mushroom sauce but we thought that it was too watery (don't worry, we have told one of the staff so hopefully it will be all good now 😁) Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
