Very nice atmosphere and our waitress was very attentive and enjoyable. The food was excellent, often when I eat at a restaurant and order a cheeseburger they all taste the same (seemingly ordered from the same food supplier). This cheeseburger was in a class all it's own. Everyone in our party found the pickled eyes on the salad bar to be quite intriguing. Had a fabulous steak lunch here last week! The food and service were outstanding, especially for the price. They have a wonderful salad bar here. The place is clean and well kept. The only reason I took off a star for atmosphere is that it's obviously very dated inside. Do not let that deter you from eating here. It's terrific! Staff was very friendly, seated and served quickly. Salad bar looked delicious but was not, blue cheese was sour, potato salad was just mustard tasting, coffee was strong like it was old. Potato salad and macaroni salad taste like it come from a Walmart deli, Alfredo taste great but not home made food. The room was dark and dated and frankly not very clean. Old worn out carpet was taped down with the tape peeling up, whole place just needs updated. Very very overpriced for the quality of the food. If all was home made in house then it could be justified but when its out of a can the prices shouldn't be so high. Applebutter was delicious. $17 for salad bar. $30+ for steaks. Big disappointment. Used to be upscale place. Update: 15 minutes after leaving I was so sick to my stomach and felt like throwing up. Would have felt better if I had.
