Liwan has recently opened in Nizwa Souq. It has a big sitting space on the ground floor in the form of cabins and on the upper floor as well. The menu is mostly grill dishes, but as with most of the other restaurants in the area, do not expect them to have everything available in their menu. When I visited, only grill dishes were available. The service is fine but it needs very serious improvement. When you order drinks, they get it from a juice store on the premises. When you want to pay, you have to make separate payments to two different locations. One for the food in the restaurant and then you walk to the juice store to pay there. If they had proper management, through a deal with the juice shop, the restaurant could directly handle payments. Overall, it is a nice place to have a meal. This is a new restaurant located near Nizwa Suq. Tourists should visit the place! They have so far the best ambiance within the area, for a restaurant!🥰 The food is also awesome, specially their Liwan salad.😋 The staff are friendly but a little concern on the servers who were having difficulty speaking English; we were trying to ask something about the menu, he tried but both of us struggled!😂 The price is average, a bit expensive but with the tasty food, it's just worth it. To come back & definitely to recommend the place to friends.😊 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

All foods are expensive, not delicious and don’t deserve this price at all. I did not like the main dishes, seafood soup was the worst soup I ever had. Nice place to have juice or coffee only. my experience was very bad compared to other tourist restaurants … apparently the management and employees don’t have experience specially in public busy days or they worked on turkish and indian cafeterias no customer communication skills no apologies very late food delivery … a bit cold ! one of them they blamed us because we placed the order with different person!! A new restaurant but really good one.. Everything here is absolutely good.. The entire atmosphere of this place makes you just want to stay and not leave.. Having multiple seating options...
