Been in Lincoln for 3 years and accepted there high prices as the food was good but the portion sizes are just taking the piss now. This is supposed to be a full scoop of chips. A scoop at most chip shops will be enough for 3 or 4 people but this is just pitiful for how much they charge. Food: 1 Service: 4

Ordered breaded Hoki and the size was very disappointing. More like the size of a fish finger or fish bite. They must be fileting the filets. Nice chips but one scoop is more like 1/2 a scoop. Food was ok, expensive and only went here as last resort as everywhere else was closed. Half a scoop is about 10chips - no exaggeration and costs $2.60? Food wasn't oily so it's a pro Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Used to love the fish and chips here. Quality and quantity was good. And I had stopped buying from the Lincoln Chinese takeaway. But of lately both the quality and quantity has gone drastically down. At first I thought it would be just for that one day. But tried multiple times and remained the same.. 1/2 scoop of Chinese takeaway is equal to 1 scoop from here. Very disappointed now. I used to recommend this place over the Chinese takeaway, but not anymore. Two stars because it used to be good. PS. Will try sometime later and updated if it gets better.

Go to the Fish & Chip Shop by the subway, This place sucks. Over priced for portion received. Got my order wrong, Middle aged Women offered a terrible service and was rude on delivery. Other place is half the price and offered better quality/portions Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered 2 fish, 2 potatoe fritters and scoop of chips...got it home, and they had given me Pineapple rings instead of potatoe fritters ... highly allergic to Pineapple...had to throw the lot in rubbish ...could have ended up in A&E with anaphylaxis... thanks for that!!!! Didn't enter the shop but the food was amazing. Got some thin paper carry away bags and was amazed to find no grease. I get an upset tummy easily and was totally fine. Fish was real fish and tasty. Chips were amazing and crisp. Pineapple rings were cooked right and juicy with the flavor in the batter. Scallops were nice and first time having so can't compare. Highly recommend this shop and wish I lived closer 💯 Food: 5
