While on our way from Healdsburg to Sonoma, we stopped by Ledson for the classic tasting. It is a standing tasting at the bar area. Casual, with no pressure. We were in the Sonoma area between Christmas and New Year’s which was perfect. No crowds, no traffic, and lots of attention. The wine was fantastic, and Denise was great. She listened to what our likes were and offered a couple additional options which we ended up purchasing. The Ledson is a beautiful, brick home turned winery. The grounds are gorgeous and the woodwork inside is breathtaking. There are more formal sit down tastings if you prefer. The prices are reasonable too. Definitely recommend. We had a great time.

Absolutely exceptional. One of the best wine tastings I have ever been to, and in a family of wine makers, I’ve been to quite a few. Jerry is an expert sommelier and a consummate host. Every wine we tried was outstanding, even the Pinot and Chardonnay which normally are not my cup of tea/glass of wine. I can’t recommend tasting at Ledson enough! This is a must do for anyone living in or visiting Sonoma.

$45 for a small tasting standing at the bar. The wine was frankly average and at that price, underwhelming. Service was great though, enjoyed the service staff conversation.

Ledson was by far my favorite winery that we visited this trip (🤫 don’t tell the others!) The grounds were pristine, the wines (especially the reds) were top notch, and it’s a beautiful castle without being overrun by tourists. We had time with Pablo during the tasting where he was able to give us more of the background of Ledson and the family and worked with our individual tastes to find the wines that we loved enough to buy! Overall, it felt like a more personalized experience rather than a tasting factory just pumping people out. Although off the beaten path of most itineraries, I highly recommend the detour!

I thought I was walking up to a castle! Gorgeous and breathtaking! The young guy who was our host was great. He told us his story and how he got to work with wine. Wish I could remember his name. The wine was great!

This place was exceptional!! From beginning to end. They were accommodating to our schedule (and our changes). Victoria was wonderful for us as well—funny, kind, and a great storyteller. The winery is beautiful, but the people who served us really made this experience all the better. Can’t wait until next time, thanks Victoria!!!

Very impressed with the great estate and the wonderful staff that welcomed us! The tasting room is quite busy but the staff showed us around the beautiful home. It was a lovely experience to see this opulent and gorgeous building! It was a fantastic home. Tried the Ledson Zinfandel for lunch and it was so delicious!

The castle doesn't disappoint!!!!!!! Unique ambience and good wine. We had a great time chilling indoors. We were fortunate it rained during our reservation. We got seated inside and was able to walk around a bit with what was open. However, due to COVID, there's no tour inside the building though. We got lucky! The staff is over accommodating and friendly.

We recently visited Ledson for a second time with some of our friends, had a truly VIP experience with Tom. We did the tasting upstairs, got to compare several different outstanding wines. They have a good variety of wines, with a range of prices. The building itself is also gorgeous, and it has a lot of historical photos of the owner's family. The giftshop is also cute
