Every year we visit here and other restaurants around the area. Today we visited and the atmosphere was nice 😊 The service was fast. The place looks nice with the Christmas decorations. It's rustic so it looks like a country restaurant lol. The food today was ok....The pork was dry and hard,I like when it is soft and oily lol. Rice was good. Yuca needs salt at least, some taste! My mojito was ok....very very sweet....needed a bit more alcohol. Had just one. Everything else was fine 🙂 Do recommend. If your planning to head here on the weekends get there early to get the whole experience. They have a parking lot and accessible washrooms. Food, service, and atmosphere always on point. The staff working are always so sweet. Food you see in the pictures is morcilla (blood sausage), yuca (cassava), arroz con habichuelas (white rice and beans), arroz con gandules (pr rice), 10lbs of lechon (roasted pork), tostones (fried plaintains), and pastillos (empanadas). We spent $254 for food but that's only because we come every few years but food is extremely affordable. They sell great drinks. Parcha mojitos (passion fruit mojitos), Pina coladas, etc. They take credit cards, cash, etc. The stores that are across the street take cash only so be prepared if you want to shop. Great prices. Lots of noise though so, if you have little ones sensitive to noise bring headphones. The roads are a bit scary if your not accustom to driving PR mountains but very doable. Just be patient and kind. True local experience. Everytime I come to the island this is a stop on either a Saturday or Sunday. You won't be disappointed. In the past, there have been times when any given food item might have been a miss, but they have improved in switching out items past their prime. The food was great. The live band music is always amazing. The service was pretty good . Service Dine in Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Arroz Con Gandules Y Lechon Asado
This place was good! It was a little pricy, but the food was good. I got the chicken sausage with a potato, sausage rice, potato salad, macaroni salad, an iced tea and two beers. The atmosphere was ok, the tables were falling apart, but the chicken sausageade up for it. I would recommend 7.8/10 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Undoubtedly a spectacular place that you can't miss on the Isla del Encanto. Located in the municipality of Guavate with great points of sale for souvenirs and its restaurants famous for their piglets. The best thing to eat the truth, and a super nice atmosphere.

I placed my order online for my work group. We ordered 3 lb of lechon, the 164 oz arroz con gandules, two platano Maduro and two containers of abituelas guisadas. The total was just over $81 for enough for four grown adults to share. The transaction was smooth and easy and very quick. We arrived about 20 minutes after I placed the order. The young lady from the restaurant contacted me to make sure that we synced up our arrival time with pickup time. The food was prepared fresh right before our eyes and is absolutely delicious The skin is crunchy and crispy the meat is savory not too salty soft and tender. The arroz con gondolas has big chunks of pork in it already.. delish. Thank you for making our legit Puerto Rican let John experience as delicious as possible.

Being foodies, and having seen this on Anthony Bourdains list for what he described as the best pork on the planet, this was a must visit while visiting PR. We rented a car and took the 50 minute drive. I don't know, everyone has a bad day and every piece or meat is different as someone who smokes meat I get it. This was a total disappointment, we ordered a pound of pork, arroz con gandules, plantains and a slice of cheesecake and of course drinks. The pork should have been the star and was not at all tender, it was tough and super salty, like inedible salty after 2 pieces I closed it up. The Plaintains and arroz con gandules were very good but the pork just fell flat for us on our visit. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
