We had dinner at Lava Pub on our first night in Negombo and we couldn‘t have been happier. The food was absolutely delicious. Best spring rolls I‘ve ever had. Also the Seafood Kottu was very fresh and tasty with just the right amount if spice. The curry with prawns was also very good. They also had very generous portion sizes. The staff took a bit longer to prepare the meal than we were used to but it was worth the wait. 11/10 would recommend. We enjoyed dinner here on our fitst night in Sri Lanka. Cosy, small restaurant, with lovely people and good traditional food. We had the seafood kottu and chicken nasi goreng. Great place! The food is delicious and the owner is a very nice person. Everything is super fresh, one of the best rice and currys I had in Sri Lamka. Highly recommended!

Food is good! Portions could be a little bigger. The staff was nice and friendly but mainly abscent and everything took a bit to long. The pub ist nice but close to road, so it’s a bit loud with the music and traffic noises. We still had a nice evening!
