Adams Morgan can be on your route by default, the clients' recommendation is to come to this bar. This place is famous for delicious wine. Great iced coffee is the right choice. Musicians play live music in the evening. Lapop is recommended for the professional staff. The cool service is something these restaurateurs care about. My favorite espresso drinks on the block. Creative menu and options. Their heroic lead barista, Jairo, never lets me down!!! Best kept secret -- Happy Hour from 6-9pm -- turns into a bar with dj and live music sometimes. Great cocktails. I usually order a bolani from the Afghan restaurant upstairs.

We came for cocktails and an appetizer before dinner at Lapis. Wife had the Viceroy which was great. She wants me to learn to make it, which I’ll fail at. I had a seasonal cocktail with gin, mezcal, and an egg white (think whiskey sour). I loved the cardamom, because I’m basic. We shared the mantoo classic dumplings, which we loved. Only negative was a slight reverb in the speakers. Music was great though. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Came here to try the new cocktail and appetizer menu- super unique flavor combos and such a great environment! The bartender, Gordon, is really friendly. I'll definitely be coming here often once I make the move to DC :)

Impressive bar connected to/under Lapis and owned by the same people. Really enjoyed my time here for Profs & Pints. Food was from Lapis and to die for– I will be back to Lapis for sure for more. La Pop was decorated so well with creaky old wooden chairs, gorgeous brushed gold light fixtures and comfortably worn pillows. I love the rebrand and will certainly be back for more.

One of my fave coffee shops in the area! Since it’s in AdMo and parking can be scarce at certain times of the day, be cognizant of the time when planning your trip here. Love their coffee and seating area, perfect for getting work done or meeting up with a friend.

I love this place and their food and drinks are always incredible and well worth the price. Its a wonderful atmosphere. However, twice now I've shown up to work and grab a coffee on a week day (between 1130 and 1230) and they've been closed even though the hours state they are open. This is annoying for someone planning their schedule and making an effort to come here. If you have fluid hours then state it, don't say you open at 11 when in fact you're closed.

Good mood, but terrible service. And the quality of the coffee/tea drinks is really low. Pity. Never dare to order the chai latte or hot chocolate. It’s going to be just warm milk and nothing else.
