I eat here at least once a month. The quality is out of this world. I'm a creature habit, so once I find something I like I usually stick with. That said, I have tried many of their torta types and all were delicious. A few months back they introduced the guacamole and chips and holy cow, it is so fresh and filling. This isn't your bulk-made grocery guac, this is the real deal. So tasty! This place just fills my soul. When I drench the torta in hot sauce and take a bite, I am just so happy. The price is good - not fancy and overinflated. You actually get more than what you pay for in quality. If you want some authentic Mexican food, you have to try this place out. Author's note: This place used to be a Chinese restaurant years and years ago. They had my most favorite dish in the world - some super spicy green curry that knocked my socks off. The soul of those high quality flavors of that foregone place now lives in La Reyna! What a disappointing long experience we waited over 35 minutes for two chicken and when we receive the order one of them was wrong and we had to wait another almost 10 minutes so 45 minutes paid $2 for extra cheese $1 each and there was no cheese on it either at that point 45 minutes later for $9 for two tacos will never go back it's just too long of a wait. They don't have enough staff and staff was rude to us like it was our fault the order was wrong. They recently painted the inside and it's looks amazing!!! Food and service and awesome. As you can see these Torta's hittt the spot!!! Always tip extra to support local businesses vs corporate. Best Tacos I've ever had. Being from southern California makes it hard to find good Mexican food anywhere else and the Quesabirras here are the best tacos I've had in the state, possibly even in life. The owner came out and was super nice, highly recommend, will be coming back here any time in craving true authentic Mexican food. My favorite quesabirria place around. Delicious food, good quantity, excellent quality ingredients, fast service, and did I mention the quesabirria! Yum. It is tucked in the corner between McDonald and Lowes. You would miss it if you weren't looking for it. Give it a try. I tried the Quesabirra tacos and was not disappointed! Great crispy exterior, well seasoned beef with a load of melted cheese. The consomé was lacking in any meat but was all there for flavor. The staff was quick to take my order and it arrived sooner than I expected. Great Mexican home feel, clean, and friendly. I definitely will be back to try more off the menu. We started off with chips and salsa. Highly recommend. They advertise the quesabirrias and they do not disappoint. Meat is very tender. Good flavor. All sauces were excellent as well. First visit, takeout. Staff was pleasant. I had the super Cubano torta. It was really good. I probably would scale down to a smaller sandwich, because this guy has it all. But really delicious. An awesome find with fresh and delicious Tortas, that you can tell are passionately prepared. The good food takes a short minute but is worth the wait. La Reyna Azteca is a tidy restaurant with lots of space and pleasant staff.
