Came here on a weekday. Not bad at all. The atmosphere was great! Very tropical with perfect lighting and soft music. Server was extremely friendly, we liked her. My wife and I shared the Hawaiian pizza. Pizza was tasty, especially if you put the habanero sauce on top. Piña mojito was good too, strong. Prices are fair.

Very sweet staff, good service and lovely outside area. Food only okay in my opinion. Ordered a vegetarian burrito, didn't blow my mind at all, I can do that better at home. Barely any rice and beans, tiny amount of avocado but way too much lettuce. It lacked flavour overall, a burrito is normally quite filling but it felt more like eating salade 😐 maybe other dishes are better.

We've been traveling for 2 and half months and these are the best tacos we've had anywhere. It was a little quiet because we went early but I was blown away. We had pork tacos and Prawn/Shrimp tacos, served on a banana leaf. Generous portions too. It opens up to a lovely little leafy spot. We also had the chicken burrito which was very fresh tasting with veg and flavour. The smoothie was banging too. I can't believe so many other places get it so wrong.

Nice place on a quiet street. We shared a very large and excellent Huarache with shrimp. Great Mojitos but most other drinks are made by blender so ask if you want a margarita on the rocks. Only complaint was they were using a smoker with citronella to keep mosquitoes away but the smoke was blowing into us while we ate. They also had the music too loud but this seems to be typical in many places to bring people in from the street.

If you want an authentic Mexican food experience, go here! The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with good reggae and latin tunes playing (sometimes live music - the singer who was there the first night we visited was excellent!). There is an indoor area, but everyone heads for the outdoor area - a sandy tropical garden feel - and there is bug spray on offer from the servers to fend off mosquitos in the evening. The drinks are excellent (I loved the 'drunk smoothies', especially Amigo and Mariachi) and the food is delicious. The molletes, chilaques and empanadas are all favourites, and the ceviche is really good and a generous serving. Neyder was our server each time we went, and his energy, helpfulness and friendliness really made it that extra bit special. Can't wait to go back!

Food was okay, the staff we're unresponsive as I was left having to do everything on my own. There are no physical menus so I was left having to scan a QR code and read the menu from my tiny phone screen. Not once did any of the staff walk over to my table: this meant I had to walk over to the kitchen and order and get the bill myself.
Maybe it was the day I arrived but from my experience this restaurant felt dead. Hopefully a change of staff can liven up the atmosphere.
Stuff is super sweet, they brought second plate of chips as a appetizer. Burrito with a shrimps was awesome. Very fresh and tasty 🤩
The only thing is that they could reconstruct and clean the toilets a little bit. But beside that, food is very good. Thank you!

I dont really understand the negative reviews, super chill place, it was quite empty before 6 on Monday, so the service was really fast actually. They do make everything on the spot, so it has nice homemade feel, smoothie as well (a bit watery, but still good), farm baked potato was good. Pina colada and French fries superb! And the feel and look of the place is really cool!
Food was absolutely awesome and the pineapple shake with tequila was so tasty. Not very strong though. Prices are really reasonable. If you’re going in the evening make sure to bring mosquito repellent because I got lots of bites. Overall I would really recommend.. Went back again and had the stuffed pepper with shrimp. Nice roasted flavour And generous portion. Had the margarita and it was amazing – it’s frozen and tasty
La Piña in Bacalar offered our best breakfast in Mexico so far. Fresh and delicious smoothies with straws out of a frozen papaya stalk. House made sauces in different spicy levels (chipotle, habanero...). Very friendly staff and reggae music complete the experience! Very fair prices for this quality!
