Went on a Friday afternoon for lunch with a friend.
The tables weren't clean - hair in the salt shaker & vinegar.
Floors were sticky as were the tables.
The waiter seemed distracted -which is odd as we were the only table. We had to practically whistle to get his attention. Took him 10 minutes to get a coke.
The chicken burger was over cooked, minimal mayo & seasoning & honestly smaller than a zinger wing. Lasted 2 bites. R150....
The best part was the Spanish style chips. 10/10 on that.
Very disappointing.

I really like the ambience and the service was okay. The food wasn’t too good. The pricing was very good and we made our own mimosas using their Prosecco.

Very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere.
Music got extremely loud at some point, we avoided going there on a Saturday and still had loud music on a Sunday but it was eventually turned down.
The waiter was rushing us to order and was irritable when we wanted clarity with certain items on the menu we ended up just ordering what we're familiar with.
Great drinks (slow service) and I had requested no avo on my pizza but i got avo, just picked it out to avoid a scene.

The food is lovely. Havent had a bad experience yet. Service is just REALLY slow! So dont go extra hungry because drinks alone come after 20 to 30min 🤦🏾♀️ Music was too loud for during the day. Once it's groove time we understand but it was 3pm and we could barely hear each other. Rather go on a Sunday if you just want food and chilled vibes.

Looks great, had to wait quite a while for our food even though we didn't order too much but it was worth the wait as the food tasted amazing!

Good atmosphere and comfortable seating. The food was mid, drinks were fine. Our waitress disappeared halfway into the evening, asked two other waitrons to please bring us the bill as we couldn't locate our server. 45 min went by and no bill was received. Eventually went to the front and asked someone who worked there to please give us our bill. They had to go search for the waitress and couldn't locate her. We got thr bill around 5 - 10 min of standing later. That was an unfortunate experience as the rest was quite nice leading up to it.

Great atmosphere. Good food.
The vibe is something to return for. I always have the same meal at La Parada, a Waygu burger. I didn’t like the Rock Shandy I kept getting, it really tasted like flavoured water. At some point it came without the cordial. Our waiter was so busy that we’d wait for drinks. Overall good place for a night out

The restaurant has done a great job in creating ambience but the romance stops there. I ordered a vegetarian pizza, priced a what you might pay for a date with Scarlet Johansson at a charity auction. What I got instead was tea with Margret Thatcher (in her later years, much later!). I was served an anemic pizza that looked and tasted like a high school cooking project, missing the chimichurri that sold me on it in the first place. I mean how can you forget the chimichurri! Surely it ought to be the star of the show. But I'm an optimist and held out for a turnaround. I should have know better by the sombre expressions of my 13 other colleagues who knew that we were in a nosedive and about to hit the ground. My cheesecake arrived with "homemade vanilla bean ice cream", a crumble of sorts and the ever so persistent after taste of styrofoam. That's right, styrofoam! I wonder how they managed to pull that off in the kitchen. I tried my utmost to convince myself otherwise and persisted in working my way through the dish, but could make my way through (as the pictures will tell.) If you want to spend a lot of money, wait an eternity for your food and have your expectations knocked sideways, then this is the place for you. If, however, you want great food, great service and an overall great culinary experience then consider one of the many other options in the vicinity. I can't vouch for all, or any of them for that matter, but I can't imagine it getting worse, could it? I'm an optimist after all.
