We went into this place walking around it looked nice and clean had not big expectations. Prices where fair, and staff very nice. Tried a little bit of everything but our favorite was the regional lime soup and hot chocolate with a spoonful of honey & cacao beans it blew our mind! Definitely a must go to when you visit this nice artesanal town. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Yucatan Mexican food that was divine in flavor, presentation, and uniqueness. Also caters well to vegetarians. I had the papadzules and chaya stuffed empanadas. Definitely try the chaya con limon agua fresca too. A must visit when in or near Valladolid. Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We all tried tamales. They were well done but probably it was not our favourite dish. The environment is nice. I would recommend to book and if possible eat outside in the garden Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–300 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very disappointing experience. Food was ok (yet nothing special) but the service is really bad and it ruined our evening. We were ignored by the waiter and despite many reminders we were not given even basic attention. Don’t fall for their drinks either - I attach a photo of what was served as a “margherita”. I spoke to the manager about it and he did not seem too bothered. He even tried to increase the bill by adding drinks that were supposed to be free due to happy our. Not sure why this place is recommended, really. It is to be avoided! Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Don Tino was the nicest host and the food was amazing at such a fair price. The ambience is beautifully done and tastefully Mexican, I’ll be back for sure Meal type Breakfast Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food and great service, for a good price. And Alberto was lovely 👌 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
First restaurant we tried in Valladolid, and it met and exceeded all our expectations. The food was delicious. I had the soup of the day, a mix of chicken, pork and cheese with nachos, an absolute dream. The drinks were delicious, mainly the Chaya drink. Mind you, they don't serve any alcohol. Prices were pretty decent. We paid about 700 pesos for 4 people.

I nearly broke my neck while leaving this place as I missed the last step on their stairs. Despite having this near death experience, I still had a great time in this restaurant. I would definitely recommend their homemade guacamole and the tortilla chips. The tamales were okayish, could have been flavoured a bit more. Also tried the tortilla stuffed with egg which was served with mashed beans and tomato sauce. It was a small portion but taste was good. If you are bored or you just don’t like the people which you are hanging out with; ask if you can have a look in their kitchen. They showed me how they made some of their recipes. It was quite interesting to see how they get a raw egg slide into a thin tortilla 😁 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–100
