À propos
After visiting Iglesia de San Juan Bautista, come for a meal. Peruvian cuisine provides flavorsome food at this restaurant. Here you will be offered tasty monkfish, chargrilled chicken and pollo a la brasa. Don't forget to try perfectly cooked che at La Choza de Oscar. Choose good Pisco sour, you won't regret it. This place provides food delivery for the convenience of its customers. This spot is recommended for the efficient staff. The prompt service is something these restaurateurs care about. Many people point out that prices are reasonable for what you receive. From the guests' point of view, the ambiance is spectacular. But google users haven't given this restaurant a high rating.

Great rotisserie chicken place! It also has all the typical Peruvian classics. In the evening they have a music and dance show for tourists. Really affordable options, especially the chicken! It's a little salty but the chicken is cooked to perfection. Filled with locals in the back and tourists in the front near the stage.
When I arrived in Peru I knew I had to get some “Peruvian chicken” aka Pollo a La brasa which is basically Peruvian rotisserie chicken. The chicken from La Choza de Oscar is the best I’ve had - seasoned right down to the bone with local herbs and spices, and juicy. A couple of the fries were undercooked but no big deal. I also requested some pimento or pepper sauce to go with my chicken and the little spice made it even better. I definitely recommend you give this spot a try. They serve this chicken all day and not just at night (this was what I’ve been told each time I tried to order for lunch in other towns).

Hands down best rotisserie chicken I have even had. Dance show was very good and much longer than I thought it would be. It was much better quality than I have seen at Caribbean all inclusives. Service was a bit slow but I have come to expect bad service in Peru. Drinks were not as good as I thought they would be. Everyone thought the chicken was great.
Tasty cheap lunch, full of locals. We came back a second time :) Now we need to come for the dinner dance show!
This was recommended by our hotel, and we are glad we came. Music & dance show from 7:30 to 9pm, free, but they request and appreciate tips. Food was good, decently priced considering entertainment. Service was slow, but it worked out so that we could watch whole show
Beware of pickpockets and thieves. The cameras don’t work and are there for show. My friend’s duffel bag was stolen right from under us. The staff was unconcerned And unsupportive. Besides that bad experience, the place was overrated, Expensive and The chicken was disappointing as well. Stay away and if you do go there BEWARE of everyone around you.
Fun place to eat. Live music, local dances, good service and a great rotisserie chicken. Prices are reasonable just bring a coat since it can get cold at night. Definitely worth a visit
In contrast to its sister establishment, uber-touristy Balcones de Puno next door, this place is a boon for hungry locals. The chicken dishes are terrific, piscos potent, and prices reasonable.
