We went to la Cascaruda the day after the re-opening. A very friendly and motivated couple and their staff prepare a reasonable choice of delicious pizzas in a wood fired oven. We have had pizza all over Uruguay and this is defenitely the best place !
Special mention for the service in English and especially for the choice of natural wines from small Uruguayan wineries.

Went tonight as someone recommended. Overall, I will give it a 3.9, average pizza, great service, and good atmosphere.
FOOD: average pizza, some of the ones we ordered were raw or cold. The best one was the Mozzarella, albahca, and tomato.
SERVICE: Everyone super nice, but the wait was long, more than 40 minutes for a pizza
ATMOSPHERE: Place has a nice vibe, is very relaxing, and has lots of tables.
Overall, it is not a bad option as they have several kind of options and the restaurant itself has a nice vibe and decent prices. However, it is not a pizza that I will go for again

Muy buena pizza. Del tipo italiana. Cenamos pizza con diferentes base....una roja (con salsa de tomate) y pizza blanca (con manteca y ajo). Buen sabor y masa crocante. La faina de entrada que probamos no estuvo bien. Cerveza del Diablo (Golden Ale) fresca y cuerpo medio. El servicio fué rápido y correcto. El ambiente está bien, buena música de fondo y local iluminación agradable.

Muy lindo lugar. La pizza muy rica. Sirven bastante rápido dependiendo la hora en la que vayas. Recomendable el queso provolone con miel, pedimos para acompañarlo una Focaccia. Tiene un recargo del 10% si pagas con tarjeta de crédito.
