We found it easy enough to find space at the bar to eat. We ordered the Arancini to share for a starter and then both ordered the baked cod with potatoes and hollandaise sauce (which had another couple of garnishes). Tap water for both of us to try and keep it affordable. The food was some of the best we've had on our travels, and also the best from our Iceland trip. As with anywhere in Iceland, we walked away thinking 'damn, that's a lot of money', but we definitely felt it was good value for money and were both left feeling satisfied with what we got for what we paid. I especially liked how everything was local and fresh, especially the fish. Kröst is located in a food court with great ambiance. The food is delicious (I had the lamb), and the service is great. We just got off the plane, checked in at the hotel and were a bit late, but they would still take our order, even though they were getting ready to close the kitchen.
